well as detergents, cleaners, pesticides, plastics, paper
and sometimes chemicals from businesses.

• Bring back permission slips as soon as
possible
• Those not participating in these lessons will
do alternative health assignments in the
library
• A separate test will be given for alternate
health assignments

4. Partner Brainstorm
3 minutes
• On one side of your paper, make a list
of all the different ways wastewater gets
into the sewer.
• How many different ways in your
house?
• Places other than your house?
5. Flush-a-rama
“Where did that dookie go?”
• Flip your paper over
• With your partner, make a quick
drawing tracing wastewater from your
toilet to….where ever you think it ends
up!
• 5 minutes, be ready to share your ideas
6. Flush!
