Sterling falls to 6-week low versus firmer dollar
Sterling fell 0.6 per cent to $1.5172, a shade below
Wednesday's low of $1.5173 which was its weakest
since April 4.
Foreign investors see rupee trade at 55-level
against dollar in 6 months
According to a research by Barclays, most investors
are bullish on rupee & expect the currency to either
remain stable or appreciate in the next six months.
Rupee edges down tracking broad dollar gains;
shares limit fall
The rupee weakened on Friday on the back of a
broad rally in the dollar versus major currencies, but
gains in domestic shares limited a sharp sell-off.
