What is a liposome Extruder? - working principle -usageJennifer Genizer
Genizer Liposome Extruders
Also knowns as: Exosomes Extruders, Artificial Cell Membrane Extruders; Liposomes Preparation devices by extrusion
Advantages: Liposome extruders are mainly used for the liposome formulation and achieving uniform size distributions. It is an ideal instrument to generate nanoscale liposome formulations, and to prepare exosomes and artificial cell membranes. By utilizing the tracked-etched filter membranes, the liposome extruders are capable of capturing large particles, precipitation and achieving sterile filtration.
Application: Research and Development for the liposomal drug delivery system, vaccine, gene delivery, and cosmetics
Liposome extruders are instruments used for liposome formulation and achieving uniform size distributions. They are beneficial in research and development for liposomal drug delivery systems, vaccines, gene delivery, and cosmetics. Liposome extrusion technology involves the use of liposomal phospholipid bilayers and specific pore-sized polycarbonate membranes to achieve uniform liposome sizes. There are different types of liposome extruders, such as hand-driven, jacketed, online, and multiple extruders. The selection of polycarbonate membranes is crucial for successful extrusion, and different pore sizes can be used to obtain desired particle sizes. A High-pressure homogenizer can also be combined with a liposome extruder for optimal results.
Genizer LLC provides microfluidics mixers, high pressure homogenizers, liposome extruders, nano particle analyzers and nano formulation services for pharmaceutical, biochemical, cosmetics and food industries.

Cell migration is a central process in the development and maintenance of all organisms. Tissue formation during embryonic
development, wound healing and immune responses all require the orchestrated movement of cells. Errors during this process
have serious consequences, including mental retardation, vascular disease, tumor formation, cell invasion and metastasis.
Recent studies have clearly shown that in contrast to classical 2D cell migration on flat substrates, 1D migration obtained on
adhesive tracks shows a spectacular mimicry with cell migration in 3D scaffolds and in vivo.
Our micropatterned adhesive tracks are available in CYTOOchip as well as 24 and 96-well CYTOOplate formats, both for basic
research and screening applications.
The CYTOOchip and CYTOOplate Motility have been designed to offer adhesive lines in a range of widths from 2.5 to 20 μm.

Removing Uninteresting Bytes in Software FuzzingAftab Hussain
Imagine a world where software fuzzing, the process of mutating bytes in test seeds to uncover hidden and erroneous program behaviors, becomes faster and more effective. A lot depends on the initial seeds, which can significantly dictate the trajectory of a fuzzing campaign, particularly in terms of how long it takes to uncover interesting behaviour in your code. We introduce DIAR, a technique designed to speedup fuzzing campaigns by pinpointing and eliminating those uninteresting bytes in the seeds. Picture this: instead of wasting valuable resources on meaningless mutations in large, bloated seeds, DIAR removes the unnecessary bytes, streamlining the entire process.
In this work, we equipped AFL, a popular fuzzer, with DIAR and examined two critical Linux libraries -- Libxml's xmllint, a tool for parsing xml documents, and Binutil's readelf, an essential debugging and security analysis command-line tool used to display detailed information about ELF (Executable and Linkable Format). Our preliminary results show that AFL+DIAR does not only discover new paths more quickly but also achieves higher coverage overall. This work thus showcases how starting with lean and optimized seeds can lead to faster, more comprehensive fuzzing campaigns -- and DIAR helps you find such seeds.

Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Benefits and key features Applications
• Cell confinement areas (adhesive discs of 80, 140, 225, 500 • Time-lapse measurements
and 1000 μm in diameter) corresponding to magnifications of 63x to 5x • Observation of highly motile cells
• No cell loss during time lapse experiments • Monitoring of cell fate
• Easy cell tracking • Precise cell proliferation studies
• Easy acquisition automation on multiple areas thanks to the integrated • Standardized cell groups The discs of different diameters (from 500 down to 80 µm) are organized over the chip in 4 identical quadrants. Each quadrant
cell localization grid • Cell colony growth is again divided into 4 zones and each disc diameter width is arrayed over 3x3 blocks. The blocks separating the 4 quadrants
• Designed to be compatible with 1 or 4 well CYTOOchambers • Precise cell cycle measurements feature the discs of 1000 µm (one disc per block).

RPE1 cells were monitored in 10× time-lapse phase-contrast microscopy to measure cell division time with respect to time of
starvation and observe daughter cell fates. Colored dots are used as visual marks to follow individual cell fates: (i) the blue
cell’s daughters were starved in late G1 and divided again; (ii) the red cell’s daughters were starved in early G1 and didn’t
divide again; (iii) the green cell’s daughters adopted asymmetric behavior: one divided again and not the other.
