Cameron Kennedy set up its Technology business in 2000 and has grown to become a core part of
our business. The Cyber Security business was added in 2012. We recruit for all temporary, contract
and permanent Technology and Cyber Security roles at all levels. We cover all industries and our
clients range from global brand names and FTSE 100 companies to small specialist firms.
We have gained a strong reputation and pride ourselves in providing both our clients and candidates
with a bespoke service that meets their needs. We listen carefully to the requirements of both

 Cameron Kennedy Referral System
At Cameron Kennedy we look after our candidates. From registration to placement we
deliver a seamless recruitment experience based on honest assessment of the candidate’s
abilities and future career prospects at the outset and continual two-way feedback during

are not actively looking for jobs and so would not normally respond to traditional forms of

We hold all candidate information on a sophisticated database, Profile, specifically designed
for the recruitment industry to meet ever more complex and demanding selection criteria.
Our referral system and vigorous marketing strategy means the database is updated

decide to place an advertisement in a specialist publication. On request, we will organise
this advertising campaign, which includes:

o Facilitating interviews, feedback, offer and acceptance

We can advertise your role on a number of well-known websites.
 Retained Search
Obtaining candidates through a retained search is a method often used in hard to fill
positions of a more senior nature or where a specific skill is in short supply. Cameron
Kennedy has a resource department that would be assigned to search for suitable
candidates for such roles.
 Events
Cameron Kennedy will attend recruitment fairs on behalf of clients. We also hold social
events for candidates and their guests on a regular basis. This is an excellent method of
networking, gaining information on the market place and generating new candidates.
6. Candidate Screening
 Screening
All candidates put forward by Cameron Kennedy are fully screened prior to the first
interview stage with a client. This involves the following:
o An in-depth, face-to-face interview to assess qualifications, skills, experience, career to
date, future expectations, personality and suitability for the role
o Candidates are fully briefed on every role they are submitted for. This includes details
about your organisation and culture, the role and its objectives, the department and the
financial package
o Relevant skills tests can be administered on behalf of our clients, if required
o Psychometric tests can be conducted on candidates, if required
 Reference Checking
Referencing of candidates which includes the following:
o Reference checks (taken on all temporary workers)
o Credit checks (on request of the client)
o Qualification checks
o Eligibility for work (overseas candidates)

All consultants at Cameron Kennedy are established recruitment professionals with strong
