Irene Breum Müller is a forensic chemist and manager of alcohol, toxicology, and drugs analysis at the University of Copenhagen. She received her M.Sc. in pharmacy in 1988 and Ph.D. in organic analytical chemistry in 1994. Her areas of research include analytical chemistry of drugs and drugs of abuse, forensic toxicology, and organic analytical chemistry. She currently leads a team of 8 people and teaches forensic medicine.
