Worked forfour different local families. I gave my students extra support in Literacy,
Numeracy and French. This included tutoring a family of three children in Maths for one
evening per week. I prided myself on making the activities fun, interesting and educational.

PERSONAL INTERESTS
I enjoy all sports, particularly running. I am a member of Witney Running Club and have ran
the London marathon twice, as well as many half marathons, a duathlon and I completed my
first triathlon this year. I have also played an active role in the social and organisational side
of a running club, where I have been a committee member and co-edited the newsletter. I am
Secretary of the local residents’ association and also produce the local newsletter.
I am a qualified Athletics Coach and regularly coach the Witney Running Club junior section
(8-16 year olds) on a Thursday evening.
I also volunteer as a Support Worker/Buddy for the charity, MIND, as part of their ‘Active
Body Healthy Mind’ project.
I am well-travelled and have visited many places around the world, including Australia,
Morocco, Mexico, Eygpt and various places in Western and Eastern Europe. After leaving
University, I spent six weeks travelling around North America. This was an enriching
experience and although I travelled alone I met many interesting people along the way.
My other hobbies include cycling, swimming, watching films and reading. I am very family
orientated and most of all enjoy spending time with my husband and two young boys.
