Stella had multiple partners, a history of STD’s, cigarette
smoker, and a weakened immune system, she was at a
higher risk of being diagnosed with cervical cancer.

3. •Stella didn’t notice any signs or symptoms in the early stages.
Cervical cancer produces no signs or symptoms at the early
stages.
• In later stages of the cervical cancer, she experienced vaginal
bleeding after intercourse, pelvic pain, bloody vaginal discharge. It
was at this time she decided to consult a doctor. The doctor did a
pap smear

4. • Stella could have prevented or reduced her
risk of cervical cancer if she avoided smoking,
and got screening such as a pap smear every
2-3 years.
