In 2010 Scientific-Atlanta was taken over by Cisco Systems, who offered me a new unlimited contract.
In 2001 I worked on moving 2 production lines to Mexico. I went there to help start up and to give
training to production and repair divisions in Mexico. I kept supporting on production and repair. In
2007 I went back to Mexico to give more training and on-site support.
I started in production, and in the spring of 2002, I was encouraged to change to the repair
I worked on troubleshooting on tough product problems, identifying the problem and worked out
solutions in cooperation with Development Division to change products and/or procedures.
In 2009 I worked on moving CATV repair to an outsource facility in Hungary. I went there to help start
up and to give training onsite in use of test equipment. And I travelled to give training on several
occasions. I kept supporting them remotely.
In 2008 I performed a customer demo in the Czech Republic
When production moved to Belgium in 2006 I moved along on a 3y out stationing contract. When the
contract ended in 2009 I was offered a new unlimited contract to stay in Belgium.
In 2004 I went to the Czech Republic and Serbia to upgrade products onsite.
In 2002 I jumped in on courier service to bring power supply units to Dubai to enable the engineers to
perform a costumer demo.
Hired as part time technichian for repair of failing modules from the production line, customer RMAs,
and am occasionally deployed as repair technichian at costumer location.
Hired in the beginning of May, but let go after a week because the project was indefinitely postponed.
Hired interim, in training as network technician Telenet XXL project. Practical work; XXL upgrade;
network walkout.
