SUMMARY
Optical manipulation using the evanescent field of higher order microfiber modes was
realized for the first time. The spin and orbital angular momentum of microfiber modes
were studied and could find promising applications in the quantum information, cold
atom research and biomedical applications. Experienced with various lasers and optical
components as well as other research equipment, have strong desire to contribute to the
science and technology.

experiments in the Light Matter Interactions Unit, OIST. (2012 - present)

Work skill • Solid knowledge of optics and light matter interactions
• Experienced using various lasers, optical fibers and optical
components, experienced with micro-fluid channel
• Use of scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and microscopes,focused
ion beams (FIB), sputtering machine, 3D printers
• Use of spatial light modulator and nonlinear crystals for phase
diffraction
• Able to assemble and utilize optical tweezers system, capable to
work with fiber pulling rig and tapered optical fibers
• Understand the basic principle of XPS and UPS
• Experienced Mechanical workshop such as Drilling Machine,
Contour machine and cutting machine etc.
