PRESIDENT
It gives me immense pleasure to announce the
release of FY 2015-16 Capability Development
Programme Calendar for Material Handling Solu-
tions Business. At TIL we accord high priority and
emphasis on Capability Development as we
believe that people are our greatest asset and
sustainable performance can be achieved through
constant focus on skill and Capability Develop-
ment.
Structured training is an important tool for Capability Development.
At TIL, we also believe in keeping our customers at the centre of all our key
approaches. Thus, TIL follows a long tradition of providing structured trainings to its
employees as well as customers.
The training modules include vocational safety, technical as well as hands-on oper-
ational training on our material handling equipments. The training programmes also
aims to expose the participants to the best operational and maintenance practices
to be able to achieve the best-in-class performance and availability out of the world
class material handling equipment manufactured and distributed by TIL. In order to
meet the customers’ requirements we have kept the option of rendering the training
programmes at our training centre as well as at customer’s sites.

Training has been categorized into Operators Training, Hydraulics &
Crane Electricals Training and Advance Service Training:
Operators Training: For Operators and Service Men.
This training is mainly for Crane Operators and can also be
attended by Service Men. On attending this training, the
participants will understand the function and operation of
different controls and safe method of operating the crane.
They will also learn reading the load chart to make suitable
settings, basic daily checks, general do’s and don’ts, along
with heads-on training on periodic maintenance emphasizing
its importance.
Hydraulics & Crane Electricals: For all Engineers and
Technicians.
This training has to be compulsorily attended by all Engineers/
Technicians. The course is designed to provide a good under-
standing of Hydraulics, Electrical & Electronics used on mobile
cranes and also imparts knowledge to handle the crane in a
safe way.
Advance Service Training : For all Engineers and Technicians
who have attended the Common Module Training.
On attending these courses the participants will further develop on
their basic knowledge acquired, and have clear understanding of
Hydraulic & electrical circuits. It also enables them to perform minor
repair & troubleshooting, and carry out proper periodic mainte-
nance as per schedule.
