I am a determined individual who is busy with ND Civil Engineering at the Cape Peninsula
University of Technology with developed skills in report writing and working in teams. I
successfully completed S1, S2 and S3. I am currently busy with S4. I have completed a year
of experiential training with Martin & East PTY (LTD), Civil engineering contractors. I have
also worked during vacations which were 4 to 5 weeks between S3 and S4.My highlight was
to be part of the construction team at Gouda Wind Farm in the Western Cape 2014.
Position overview
Organises, controls labour and plant under my supervision. Work as prescribed in the
planning meeting which is agreed between the technician and the superiors. Execute civil
works in a manner that complies with the requirements and specifications stated in the
contract and maintaining target production.
My key duties and responsibilities as a Civil engineering technician are:

I had ran my own operations in construction. My scope of work included: supervising
operations, running day works, doing production sheets after each and every operation, done
layer-works, Excavation of bases, Attending plant meetings prior to operations
start(Planning)box cutting, setting V-drains and slopes, Stabilizing, Laying Storm water
pipes(Services).Testing(using a Troxler) & Tacheometry Survey.
Ran a few operations of undercuts that seeks more strategic planning and thorough time
management. I am capable of working under pressure and be able to deliver on time and also
juggle paper work of operations.
