Requirements for Vocational Qualifications
• the regulation for the requirements for vocational
qualifications in business and adminstration was
issued in 2009 by the Finnish National Board of
Education  ”national core curriculum”
• in curriculum-based education and training the
education provider must draw up and approve a
curriculum in compliance with the terms stipulated
in the qualification requirements

Our Curriculum
• Special features:
• recognition and validation of student´s prior learning
• extended ”on-the-job-learning” –periods 40 crs or more
according to student´s individual education plan (IEP)
• individual learning paths
• diversified methods for assesment of learning and
competence:
 same principles for special needs students
 possibility to adjust the education and training if a
student does not reach the satisfactory 1 level
objectives (levels 1 – 3)
 if the skills requirements or objectives have been
adjusted an entry must be made in the certificate
