2. WHO WAS THE PERSON?????
Dr. Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen, A. P. J, Abdul Kalam was
a scientist and an engineer, who served as the President of
India from 2002 to 2007.
He was a man of vision ,who was always full of ideas aimed
at the development of the country and is often also
referred to as the missile man of India.
People loved and respected him so much during his
tenure as president that was popularly called the
people’s president.
He had received highest civilian award Bharat Ratna in 1997.

5. • Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam’s father, Jainulabudeen was a boat owner
and imam of a local mosque and his mother Ashiamma was a
housewife.

served as the 11th President, an electoral vote

He was known as People's President.
He was also the first scientist and the first
bachelor to occupy Rashtrapati Bhawan.
