This document discusses the Market-Led, User-Owned ICT4Ag-Enabled Information Service (MUIIS) project in Uganda. MUIIS aims to provide farmers with satellite data, weather information, agri-advisory tips, and access to insurance and market prices via an app and agent network. The project is a partnership between various organizations to develop a sustainable business model that will provide services to 350,000 smallholder farmers by 2018. MUIIS intends to improve farmers' productivity and incomes through access to timely information and resources.
