■concept
DJ TSUYOSHI a.k.a. NUMANOID / JOUJOUKA
began his career as a DJ since early 90's,beginning of the Techno-music boom. Since then, he becomes global leading
DJ in Techno scene.Now, he will release his first music and video compilation album after he moved to EVOLUTION.He
select and collect the numbers regardless of nationality,which was popular in 80' new wave music scene in Japan. You
could enjoy various genres of music, techno,house, funk, punk,and rock in Japan at that time. These musics made great
harmony at that time in Japan. Many Japanese artists participate in this album. For example, you can enjoy the numbers
of JOUJOUKA, FUNKY GONG, REE.K, and AYASHIGE. Three foreign artists offer the numbers for this album.
SLOT MACHINE is electric music band, which is organized by Australian, Nick Taylor. BROZ.KORP is electric music
band, whose members are all French. This group is popular in electric music scene in Tokyo. You can enjoy the famous
number “This is not a love song" of PIL（Public Image LTD）covered by “NUMANOID and MAZDA and feat.NINA” in this
album. In addition to the music CD album described above, you can enjoy the DVD which records the movie' file produced
by the video　artists in Tokyo.In other words, this product includes 1CD and 1DVD. The four video artists join a team to
produce this DVD project. "Tadanobu Asano", who becomes famous for his first film " TORY" as a director. "t.o.L" ,who
got involved in producing "TAMALA 2010" as director, script writer and music producer. Kensaku Kakimoto, who is 24
year's old video artist. He becomes famous for his works " colors"and"sleeping flower".TSUYOSHI , he made
documentary video record in Berlin,Barcelona,and Tokyo. This project is a new trial to express the two cultural era(80' and
latest scene in Japan) by combining the music and movie.

【About the CD】
JOUJOUKA
They are electronic rock-band based on Tokyo. This band's members are NUMANOID a.k.a,
DJ TSUYOSHI, FUNKY GONG, LYOKI. This band was born in 1998. Their first debut-album
was released at UK. They performed world-wide tour at Tokyo, London,Paris,Coln and got a
good reputation from the audiences. They also performed their music at numerous big festival
such as Japan's largest rock-festival FUJI ROCK FES,Summer Sonic,ALVIKA FESTIVAL at
Norway. The members of the JOUJOUKA are all DJ, so they organized periodical club-event
"JOUJOUKA EXCLUSIVE" at Tokyo. They also collaborated with United Future Organization,
WRENCH,SANDII, TOSHINORI KONDO,HOPPY KAMIYAMA, TADANOBU ASANO etc.

SLOT MACHINE
Slot Machine is the bastard love-child of Nick Taylor, Sean Candy
(A.B) and Mc pUsS'n'Booty. Born in a dark basement in Northern N.S.W.
Australia, Slot Machine has glitter in their balls and groove in their hearts. With a
combined background that spans a multitude of genres and an unhealthy dose of Punk
Rock, Slot Machine fuses Electro-Rock and Punk Funk into something Meaty, Beaty, Big
and Bouncy. In their short history, they have rocked out crowds with their burlesque-infused
live show at Australias most renowned festivals, The Big Day Out, Splendour in the
Grass, Earthcore and Exodus. Currently Slot Machine are working on their debut album,
which is set to take off mid year. Thier track No Fear has recieved a great reaction from
dancefloors after being released on vinyl with Tsuyoshi Suzuki's Japanese Electro Rock

BROZ.CORP (aka BIO-TONIC/FRANCE)
Though they have only short history, numerous rabels compete each other to offer music to
BROZ.CORP,the newly unit.LECOQ brothers play their music as BIO-TONIC who is famous
for its dynamic full-on trans music. They show another new talent of music in their activity as
BROZ.CORP . It is very rock and acid,and muscular. Their party music appeals to lower back.
Their music composes the movement of Neo French Electro which is represented by some
artist and rabels,such as DIGITALISM, JUSTICE,KITSUNE.

DJ AYASHIGE
"WRENCH" is the music band which began its activity since 1992. The member of
"WRENCH" ,SHIGE began its solo-project " DJ AYASHIGE".He has omnivorous-original
music-style based on various music background which spans Live House Scene to Club
Scene.He has made his own original track since 1997. He made dabby and chill-out music
based on his experience of travelling and gradually made dance-tune music afterward.In
2004, he released his track world-wide as Madskippers「HIGH-ENERGY/PLASTIC TIME」
(EP). This number got the first prize in the radio program "RADIO ONDA ROSSA" in Italy at
the month in which 「HIGH-ENERGY/PLASTIC TIME」(EP) was released.He remixes the
tracks of many artists across the world. He is also the memeber of "AGERO" whose anotehr

FUNKY GONG (JOUJOUKA)
He has played the guitar as a member of alternative-rock band since 1980. He became the
member of "JOUJOUKA" in 1998. At the same time,he began his activity as DJ.Since 1994,
he has been trying avant-gard music expression,playing the guitar and doing DJ at
once.Quite a few audiences support his funky,rock'n,acid,electro,psychedelic-sound
regardless of genre of music. He arranges the track of JOUJOUKA.
He also continue solo-music-activity.He collaborate with big-name artist such as YOUTH,ex-
member of KILLING JOKE,TOSHIO NAKANISHI,member of PLASTICS.Currently he is
making solo-album.

This is the name of electronic rock band of DJ TSUYOSHI who is the world famous DJ.
He was strongly influenced by YMO,new wave of UK.He majored in video art at department of
art at Nihon University . In the late 80's, he began his musical activity at Tokyo. He went to UK
and started activity as a DJ in London. He steadily got the supporters of his music in his
various stage (mainly in European Area)at Love Parade,Tribal Gathering,which are all big
party. At 2000, He moved his office to Tokyo from London and started up his rabel
MADSKIPPERS. He introduced acoustic instrument into electronic rock-band " JOUJOUKA".
And he positively did activity of this band. He always transcends the border of the genre of

MAZDA
He is the track maker of "UNI" which start its musical activity at Kyoto in 1996. He
introduced Techno, Hard-Core, Metal, Rock into the dance music.He has a great track record

A man is lost in the strange world " Hyper Space" when walking around the city. Then he opens many door,diggs many
hole,destroy the wall. He runs through the strange world "Hyper Space". In the end of the story,he encounters a child.
The actor Tadanobu Asano creates this mysterious and speedy movie based on the number of JOUJOUKA"HYPER
SPACE"
Tadanobu Asano
He was born at Yokohama-city in 1973. He started his career as a movie actor at
the film of "Bataashi Kingyo",directed by Jyouji Matsuoka.He is the head of
Japanese international actor,having rich movie experience in Japan and
abroad.2003 He received the prize of Coppa volpi at Mostra Internazionale d'Arte
Cinematografica in the department of Contro Colente.2006 He received the
prize of lead actor of Mainich movie contest. He also got many awards as
actor.The latest film in which you can see him is " Sad Vacation" directed by Shinji
Aoyama. He will appear as "Genghis Khan" in the film of "Mongol" directed by

t.o.L who is producer of animation film " TAMALA 2010" which was released in 2002,visualize the number of
JOUJOUKA"DON'T TOUCH ME, I'M ELEKTRIC!" In this story,two guys are transformed in all of a sudden.

t.o.L is an art & sound unit whose members are kuno.M and saito Kay. This unit co-produces, art-directs, offeres the track
of"LEMONed" which is the rabel started by hide.This unit acts as musical band "trees of Life". They directed,made script
and music of animation film of "TAMALA2010 a punk cat in space" in 2003. This film took prize of animation of the year in
Canada-fantasia film festival, department of screening.They produce CF,advertisement,PV and so on. In 2007,they
released the DVD, TAMALA project "TAMALA ON PARADE" after 5 years absence.

Kensaku Kakimoto is producer whose debut film as a director is "Sleeping Flower"(2005) at his age of 22. He visualize
the number of JOUJOUKA " NO TOKYO". David is known to everyone in Japan,for the role of the guy who is transformed
into japanse elementary school student " Takashi" in the TVCM of Intel. He play a main role in " NO TOKYO" to realize
funky and pop world of JOUJOUKA in mysterious manner.
Kensaku Kakimoto
He was born in 1982 at Kagawa Prefecture. He began his career as video artist by working as
an assistant director of film and music video when he was student.After that,he became the
assistant director of Hiroyuki Nakano and produced "Spoken Word"in 2003,"Opinions"in 2003.
In 2005, he produces feature film "Sleeping Flower" as a director. In 2006, he produced as a
director "COLORS" whose cast are JUN MURAKAMI,SYUNSUKE MATSUOKA,MAME
YAMADA. He produces also PV and CF. His activity has vast variety.

He was strongly influenced by Nam Jun Pike and other experimental films. He majored in
video art in the department of arts in Nihon University.He has strong interest in creating the
video even though he became world famous DJ. He made a film of Berlin,Barcelona,Tokyo by
his camcorder.He arranged them with his sense of DJ.
