CSR can be defined as companies bringing social and environmental concerns into their business operations and interactions with stakeholders to function better. CSR is about businesses giving back to society. The ASEAN was established in 1997 and has 10 member countries. Its mission is to promote awareness, interaction, and participation among ASEAN peoples through human resource development. CSR is a main topic in ASEAN's current socio-cultural community blueprint through 2015, and the ASEAN Foundation has launched many CSR projects focused on areas like the environment, education, and labor conditions.
