CSEO CURVES project (june)
The CURVES project developed an ultra high resolution virtual environment system with an 8K curved panorama screen using multi-facet LCD/IPS screens. It was started by the Cyprus Space Exploration Organisation in 2012 to promote scientific research and development in space exploration. Some of CSEO's projects include a planetary exploration system using wireless sensors to study Mars, a stratospheric platform for Earth monitoring, a cubesat constellation, and a robotic observatory to detect near-Earth objects. CSEO is building international collaborations with companies, government agencies, and research institutions from countries including the US, Russia, UK, France, Germany, and more.

- 5. ● MarsSense Technology:A planetary exploration system using Wireless Sensor Networks to relate geological and atmospheric data of planets-In collaboration with the Networks Lab @ the University of Cyprus. Awarded at the SpaceOps 2014 conference, hosted by NASA/JPL. ● Project StratoCy: Multipurpose, autonomous Stratospheric Platform for Earth Monitoring and scientific experiments in stratospheric environment. In collaboration with the Frederick University of Technology Cyprus. ● Cubesat Project: A CubeSat constellation group in collaboration with the NASA Ames Research Center, the San Jose California State University. ● Arachnobeea Project: An innovative quad-copter drone destined for usage in space vehicles. NASA awarded the Cypriot team as the international winner for the "Best Mission Concept" of the 2015 International Space Apps Challenge. R&D will continue on the project in collaboration with the Robotics Laboratory of the Cyprus University of Technology. ● 1m Robotic Observatory: First Cypriot observatory based on the mountain in clear dark skies location. Activities: Detection of NEOs (Near Earth Objects) and used in robotic telescope network for automatic observing of urgent targets of high scientific interest, such as supernovas in collaboration with ESA’s NEO Coordination Centre. Detection of Exoplanets (in collaboration with Planetary Society and Imperial College). Search for Optical SETI signals in cooperation with the SETI Institute.
