- 4. Examples While some artists address the negative things about crime, others glorify it. Some artists can even be examples of what can happen.
- 5. Tragedy Crime not only ruins lives but also causes tragedy. One major example that most people know about is TupacShakur
- 6. Why With the way that artist glorify gang life and other crimes, it’s no wonder that young people today act on what they hear in the music they listen to
- 7. What We Can Do By looking at why hip hop has such a huge impact, we can try to counter that impact with something more positive. Things like after school programs are a huge help in keeping kids safe and out of gangs.
- 8. Moving Forward As time goes on and new artists emerge, hip hop is starting to gain a more positive light and more positive spin. This can be credited to artists such as: Ne-Yo Lupe Fiasco
- 9. A Brighter Tomorrow Positive example will make for a brighter and more positive future for youth all around so if artists deliver a more positive message, we can hope that we would see a more positive world
