Through surveys and interviews at Sephora stores, the team found that many cosmetics users struggle to find products that match their skin tone. They observed Sephora's Color IQ machine, which identifies matching products but has limitations. The team's research showed opportunities to help users select the right makeup through an improved technology solution. Their goal is to develop a concept that provides an easy, efficient way for women to find matching products and feel confident in their purchases.
