- For his AS project, the student created a new 2-minute horror film opening using generic conventions of the genre. - For his A2 project, the student created a new music video for a pop-punk song using conventions of that genre. - The set briefs allowed creativity by not restricting the student's work, allowing him to use any ideas. He was able to be creative by building on and expanding generic conventions for both projects. - Digital technology helped the student think of new ideas he may not have come up with otherwise, though it was not necessary for aspects like storyboarding.
