• Did not feel like visiting this store
• Not well arranged
• Food items & toilet brush were kept together
• Store keeper gives the products
• Similar products were kept so close together
  that customers got confused
• The store was not attractive

•   This is a bigger store with a variety of products
•   Customers purchased large quantities
•   Offered discounts
•   Well maintained
•   Attracted customers to stay longer
•   The colors of the store are not very attractive
•   Awards of the store persons were put on
    display

• Smaller store
• Owner of the shop is the only salesperson
• The products were properly displayed
• Frequently selling and Impulse products were
  kept at a hand’s reach(Biscuits)
• Products which were rarely bought were kept
  at the top (cooking oil, Antiseptic Liquid)
•   Outer Boards were sponsored by companies
•   Products kept in the display were unattractive
•   Some products were not at all visible
•   Customer has to specify a product which he
    has in mind
Overall view


• The stores here don’t let the customers to feel
  the product
• Many stores are very small & carry very little
  assortment
• The Store owners are rude
• Big stores are visited only by customers with
  high income
• Big stores are very few & they don’t provide
  credit
• Most customers come to stores to buy and not
  to window shop
• Customers crowd the stores whenever there is
  a discount or sale
• Most stores are not attractive enough
• A customer spends very little time
