Taken from an HTC phone

3. PHOTO COMPARED TO RED
FLOWER
• Olga Boznanska - Vase of Flowers
• Olga Boznanska (Krakov 1865 - Paris
1940)
• Oil on canvas
• Size: 27cm x 18cm
• Provenance: Angelo Sommaruga (
Milan 1857 - 1941 ), then to Maria
Sommaruga wife of the painter Ulisse
Caputo.
4. ELEMENTS OF RED FLOWER
• Balance- the red flower has a good balance because the red flower is in the
middle
• Color- the color on the picture are soft and the red of the flower catches
your eyesight when you first look at the picture
• Line quality- the line quality is jagged because the grass looks jagged and
some of the lines on the wood
• Light- the light on the picture looks like it is dark on the right corner then turns
light going from the top
5. COMPARE AND CONTRAST
Red flower
The Red flower photograph is outside and the background looks gray and
there is a bright red flower right in the middle of the photo. When you first look
at the photo the first things that catches your eye is the red flower. That is
because the color is stronger than the background.
Vase of Flower
The Vase of Flower is basically the same thing as the Red Flower. Vase of
Flower has a light brown background and it also has a red flower in the middle
of the painting. The red flower also catches your eye when you first look at this
painting.
