Studyingthe Bible:This is the first step of lesson preparation and an important one because what the students learn will reflect on how well the teacher has studied the material . This is the hands on, time consuming, tedious task that a teacher is to undergo if he or she expects to communicate the Word of God to the student effectively. I chose this picture because it is a person trying to study the Bible. They must do this task before anything else.
Focusing the message:Student learning and appropriate teaching response. This is learning how to focus the needs of the students and to bridge the gap between the historic world and the modern world. I chose the detective with the magnifying glass for this picture because it shows how he is focused on one thing and tryng to figure out the details.
Structuring the lesson:The structuring is used to create a course for the class. The approach that is used is the Hook, Look, Book, Took. This is to observe and take a note of the things going on in the class and strategize how to best approach the group. I chose this picture because it reminds me of how atoms form certain structures depending on what is attached to it.
Teaching the class:This fourth step is the actual in class teaching time. This also focuses on the different developmental stages and gives the teacher the ability to teach in the different age groups. This is the picture of a person teaching the class. It represents the actual time in class with the students.
Evaluating the results:This process helps the teacher to evaluate their teaching effectiveness and to make future adustments so that they will better serve their students needs. This is a picture of a checklist. It represents a person doing an evaluation of their peers or of themselves when it comes to teaching and how they can improve and be more effective.
