Crease Bend Tester
B0012
The Crease Bend Tester is used to monitor scoring equipment to ensure box performance by measuring
the bending resistance of creased board at the crease at the time of folding. Samples are pneumatically
clamped down, and the maximum force required to bend the sample board is automatically measured.
The peak force measured is then displayed on the screen until the next test.
By measuring crease bends with, and against the grain of the board, corrugated converters can use the
Crease Bend Tester to aid in making adjustments to improve quality, ensuring the end user will have boxes
that run effectively on their production line.
