This document discusses IBM Rational Application Security's experience using Synergy/CM as a change request (CR) based system to manage builds across multiple releases. It describes the key requirements, an overview of the solution, and details of the solution including using attributes, folders, and Perl scripts to integrate Synergy/CM with their build management process and support multiple concurrent releases. It also notes some problems experienced with Synergy/CM's usability and flexibility.
