2. Pelletizing technique is widely used in steel mills due to the characteristics of suitable application for mass
production, uniform grading, assurance of good air permeability for balst furnace burden, high voidage, good
reducibility, high cold strength and convenient transportation and storage.The most popular fans used in the
whole palletizing craft process are as follows:
Pelletizing Heat Recovery Fan: operating temperature of 400-550 , ususally behind muti-tubular dust℃
collector, dust load of around 600mg/m3, main gas composition: Fe2O3 、 SiO2, etc. The dust causes serious
abrasion to impeller because of irregular shape and high hardness. Besides, high operating temperature requires
high anti-abrasion performance. So demanding high temperature mechanical behavior, antioxidation property
and red hardness of anti-abrasive materials are required.
Main Draught Fan: Total Pressure: 4000Pa-6000Pa, Airflow: 300000-1050000 m3/h, operating temperature:
120 -200 , equipped behind electric precipitator or bag dust collector, dust load: around 150mg/m3. It is℃ ℃
mainly used to evacuate fumes after dust collecting.
Up-Draught Drying Fan: Operating Temperature:180-250 .℃
Loop Cooling Fan: Operating Temperature: 20℃
3. In the sintering process in steel plants, the following fans are
mainly used:
Sintering fan: operating temperature 130 -150 , often behind℃ ℃
electrical dust collector, dust load of around 150mg / Nm3, main
gas composition: Fe2O3, SiO2, etc, The dust causes serious
abrasion to impeller because of irregular shape and high hardness.
So demanding big diameter of impeller, high speed revolution,
high hardness, outstanding rigidity, good anti-abrasion
performance are required.

4. In the craft process of iron & steel making, the following fans are
mainly used:
Mine blunker dust removal fan, Cast house dust removal fan,
Stock yard dust removal fan, Converter secondary dust
removal fan, Third dust removal fan, Underground stockbin
fan, Transfer Station dust removal fan, Liquid iron down-
draught & pretreatment dut removal fan.
These kinds of fans are usually equipped behind bag filter and
electric dust collecter. Total pressure of 5,000-6,000Pa, airflow of
800,000-1,600,000m3/h, operating temperature of 120 , dust℃
load of 150mg/m3. Fans require anti-abrasion performance and
long-term operation under high efficient working conditions.
CQGI adopts models with efficiency up to 86% and structure of
single suction or double suction and double support.Working
surface of impeller is treated with anti-abrasion in order to extend
service life of impeller. Fan bearing adopts rolling bearing or self-
lubricating sliding bearing with convenient maintenance.

5. In the craft process of coking in steel mills, the following fans are
popularly used:
Coaling dust removal fan, Dust removal fan for coke pushing,
Dust removal fan for coke smashing
All those fans use VFD to regulate speed, about 10 minutes for a
cycle. When the fan speeds up and down frequently, impeller
suffers enormous alternating stress. So rigidity of impeller is
demanding. CQGI takes use of finite element analysis software to
guarantee a long term service life of fan.
Coke dry quenching circulating fan
Total pressure of 13,000~15,000Pa, airflow of 85,000~270,000
Nm3/h, operating temperature of 160~180 , medium of N2,℃
CO2, CO, etc.Features: dust load reaches 1000mg/m3, and dust is
coke tiny particle with high hardness, which causes serious
abrasion to fan. Meanwhile, because Co is contained, seal
requirement is same as coal gas fan. CQGI has mastered the
technology of anti-abrasion and zero antileak, therefore it is able
to design and manufacture coke dry quenching circulating fan.

6. Coal gas fan is also widely used in steel mills, such as converter coal gas fan, coke oven gas fan, blast furnace
gas fan and gas pressuring fan. The conveying medium contains CO, N2, H2O, CO2, etc . Meanwhile, fan
requires zero antileak or spark during transport process, otherwise it will bring about blast or CO poisoning
due to high humidity ratio and exist of dust and flammable gas (ex. CO). CQGI adopts nitrogen pressure seal
to prevent sparks resulted from leakage.

8. • Full hydrogen bell type annealing furnace is the most
advanced periodic annealing furnace in the world.
Recirculated medium in furnace is hydrogen whose features
include light weight, good heat conductivity, strong
penetrability and fast heat transfer.
• Furnace platform circulating fan is the most critical facility of
full hydrogen annealing furnace. It plays an important role in
speeding up circulation of hydrogen, strengthen convective
heat transfer, ensuring uniform temperature without any
local overheating phenomenon in furnace, and guarantee
uniform under-wired mechanical preperties after annealing
treatment.
