The Council of Project Finance Advisors (CPFA) has been established by former governor Howard Dean and former mayor Stephen Goldsmith to promote best practices in public-private partnerships (P3) across various sectors. The CPFA aims to bridge the gap between public and private sectors to improve infrastructure funding, especially in light of economic challenges, by providing guidance, standardizing practices, and enhancing public trust. The council, backed by various industry leaders, will develop a repository of best practices and encourage innovative collaboration to boost the U.S. competitive advantage in infrastructure development.
