1. Sunglasses: these are our main linking prop, it connotes that he has star quality so he is distant from us but underneath he is just a normal guy. Hair and make up: blonde and volumised hair was a key part of the look we wanted, we deliberately didn’t put make up on her so she looked naturally pretty. Chezza: We wanted him to conform to the indie genre of music through his clothes, through research we found neutral colours, greys, beige and browns where common in the style. Milly: Our aim with Milly was to make her look naturally glamorous and like a party girl. Dress: we gave her a bright coloured dress to emphasis her and her beauty, we also picked a ‘going out’ dress so she appears glamorous and high maintainous. Shoes: we wanted her to wear heels to give her high and authority, it also makes her look higher and better than the other girl. Chinos: These are stereotypically indie and conform to the neutral colours. Shoes: plimsolls again conform to the indie genre and emphasise acasual look.
2. Adam: lead in narrative Jacket: to connote a change in weather and cold time of their relationship. As the genre of our song is Indie we wanted the male characters to conform the genre’s style in both fashion and personal appearance. Jumper: the horizontal lines on the top are similar to James cherry’s costume giving a clear link. Shirt: this is more formal as the setting is after they have been out for a meal. this connotes his dedication to the relationship. Top: This is a dark shade and plain, it also connotes warmth, so this outfit will be shown in the couple happy memories. The low neck again conforms to the indie genre. Trousers: The grey trousers are neutral and Indie styled. They are clearly practical for the weather we want to film it in .
