The document describes the costumes for the main characters in a short film called "Behind Closed Doors". The main male character, Alfie, will wear smart casual clothing like trousers, a jumper, and tie to appear in a lower job role than the main female character Kate. Kate will wear smart clothing like a blouse, trousers, and coat to express her higher authority. The woman in the office will dress similarly to Kate. The assistant in the CCTV room will wear all black to blend into the dark room without distracting from other characters.

2. What will the main male character
be wearing?
 The main male character will be seen to be wearing a mix of smart/casual clothing. It ranges
from; smart back trousers, a burgundy jumper, a white shirt, and also smart suede shoes and a
black tie. Even though Alfie dresses reasonably smart we didn’t want him to look too smart
because he had to come across as someone who wasn’t in a similar job role to Kate he had to
be somewhere below her. Therefore getting the audience to think about Alfie's role and what he
actually does compared to kate.

3. What will the main female
character be wearing?
 The main female character will be seen to be wearing smart clothing just like the
male character. Kate will have on a smart white blouse/shirt, smart back cropped
trousers, a smart dark olive green coat and flat shoes. She will also have a back bag
and a pink coloured mirror. As Kate dresses smarter than Sarah does this shows that
Kate has more of a authority within her role therefore has to express this through her
clothing and mannerisms.

4. What will the woman in the office
be wearing?
 The woman who is in the office at the start of the opening sequence in the short and
at the very end will be wearing similar clothes to Kate based on the smartness. She
will also have handbag with her which she takes with her when she leaves. Sarah will
be wearing a black coat, black top/top of dress and a burgundy skirt. This is the same
as Alfie, in reference to the smartness of the clothing which Sarah will be wearing
because we didn’t want the audience to think that Sarah had more of an authority
over Kate.

5. What will the assistant in the CCTV
room be wearing?
 The assistant in the CCTV room has to sort of blend in with his surrounding
therefore having him a dark dingy lit room wearing black clothes was
perfect fit for his character. He wore a black jacket, black trousers, a dark
jumper and a white shirt and black shoes. This meant that when Alfie came
into this scene the camera focus wasn’t on the guy in the room its focal
point was Alfie.
