With the vision of specialized denim/jeans making, in 2001 Tusuka started its venture as jeans manufacturer with only 2 sewing lines and a small laundry to take the opportunity of globally growing demand of denim garment. After a year management found the necessity of a large world class in house laundry section to fulfill the vision. So from 2003 management started to expended the laundry and new sewing lines in its compound. Now Tusuka has the washing capacity of 45000pcs per day, with total 34 sewing lines specialized in denim garment making. 7. Generally it exports its entire product to Sri-Lanka &
USA where the retailers like wall-mart, k-mart buy their
products for the purpose of reselling. As the GM of the
company was telling us that they are successful because
they fulfill the demand of their laborer, by giving them
canteen, child-care, day-care & emergency medical
facilities.

The ready-made garments (RMG) industry occupies a
unique position in the Bangladesh economy. It is the
largest exporting industry in Bangladesh, which
experienced phenomenal growth during the last 30 years.

14. 4. Maintenance system of the RG LTD:-
Maintenance system is responsible to ensure the
proper function of the machine & its parts. They do
the following work:-
To store machine parts.
To supply tools and equipments.

good production efficiency. If any of the
system becomes failed to maintain the proper
work then the production will be hampered.
So management, who is responsible for the
production should ensure the proper work of

100% cotton, Specially finished like
wrinkle resistance, Easy care finish for
“Gabardine & Jeans pants”.

The main buyer of the garment is wall-mart.
But they also sell their products to
k-mart, Sainsbury’s, Geoffrey Berne etc.

21. Sample section: Sample section is
the first section of Regency Garments Ltd:-
To make the correct sample is the first
function of sample section.
To perform pattern grading.
22. Store section: Store is essential
to preserve the raw materials & the
final finis goods. It’s important to
maintain correct information about the
current stored materials:-
Materials receiving.
Issue to production unit.
23. Cutting section: Cutting section is the
third section after sample section. Here
cutting operation is done by the cutter. Here,
following work is done:-
Fabric spreading on the cutting table or
floor. Marker making according to the pattern.
To cut fabric according to the marker.
24. Sewing section: In the
sewing section, cut pieces of
fabric are assembled by sewing
operation.
25. Finishing section: After sewing, fabric is
send to the finishing section. Different types of
ornamenting work are done here:-
Ironing, Folding, Packing &
Arranging.
Final inspection done by the
quality control officer. After
quality inspection; it is decided
that the fabric is ok or is it
reject.
26. Go-down section: Storing Finished Goods.
Shipment section: After finishing all
formalities ensure the buyer by fax or e-mail.
Ready for exporting the garments.
