Binni Garments Limited, founded by late Major General
M. Khalilur Rahman (Retd.), who not to mention was
the founder President of BGMEA, who used to run this
factory personally and then later by his family members.
Hasan Iqbal Shamim ( present Managing Director ) took
over this company in 2010, which is now standing with 3
lines and within a very short time, is about to reach its
fourth line.
‘90,000+ ready-made garments a month !!’, might
sound outrageous, but it is actually possible, because of
the vastly experienced team of production personals,
who are utmost working in this factory from the very
beginning, that means, long-term experienced and
skilled workers at the same time.
Our factory can make any complicated designs you
provide and desire in the woven type.

Location:
Binni Garments is in Kamalapur that is adjacent to the Motijheel Commercial area of Dhaka
and opposite side of railway I.C.D gate. We enjoy the port facilities at Kamalapur railway
station, which is directly connected to the port city of Chittagong.
The building :
It is three storied building with Binni occupying the top two floors. In the ground floor we
installed power station and generator. The atmosphere is airy and generally cool. The floor is
well illuminated.
Sewing & other's department:
There are 250 Operators and 130 Helpers in the sewing section. Under the Cutting in charge,
works 25 workers. Under the Quality Control Manager, works 20 Line Inspectors. In
finishing section, works 20 Quality Inspector and in Cutting section, works 4 Quality
Inspectors. Line Iron man 15, and under the Finishing in charge works 60 workers. These
workers are supervised by 12 supervisors. There is 1 Production manager (PM), and 1
Assistant Production manager (APM), who oversees the whole sewing section. Total 550
(Five Hundred and fifty) worker is working now at this factory. PM looks after the entire
production section and is assisted by APM.
Inspection department :
We are very particular regarding quality. Inspectors work under one Chief inspector. There are
3 line inspectors to detect defects in line and suggest corrective measures to be taken by the
supervisors. We also do a 100% inspection after completion of sewing. A 100% final
inspection is done before putting the garments into poly bags. An hourly sample audit is done
before blistering. We use 2.5 system for sampling which is internationally recommended.
Facilities :
Apart from the statutory requirements regarding workers, we provide them with medical
facilities; A Doctor from a reputed hospital of the city visits the factory every week who
attends to the sick workers and on every emergency we get the necessary medical support from
that hospital. Our every worker is insured by group insurance and every female worker gets
maternal facility with full salary.
