Sarah reviews a TIFF document sent by Jim Miller and uses CoSign Digital Signatures to sign the document. She selects Print from the File menu, which generates a PDF using the CoSign Printer. This opens CoSign, allowing Sarah to create and sign a new signature field on the document. After inputting her password, her digital signature is applied and the signed PDF is saved. When opened in Adobe Reader, the signature is validated, proving Sarah's identity and that the document has not been altered since signing.

2. After receiving his insurance policy, Jim Miller
signed, scanned and emailed the receipt to his
Insurance Agent - Sarah Reynolds.

3. The Agent reviews the TIFF and begins the
signing process.

4. To sign this TIFF document,
she selects Print from the File menu.

5. Sarah selects the ARX CoSign Printer.

6. CoSign generates a PDF file using the application's Print
command. This opens CoSign, allowing the user to digitally
sign the document.

7. The newly generated PDF opens in CoSign.

8. Sarah begins the signing process by
clicking on the Create and sign a new
signature field icon.

9. She drags the cursor to create the
signature field.

10. Sarah is prompted to add her reason
for signing...

11. …and Title.

12. She is challenged for
her password.

13. Her signature appears on the
document. The document is now
signed and sealed.

14. Sarah saves her document as a
signed PDF.

15. Now anyone can verify Sarah's
digital signature.

16. The document is opened with
Adobe® Reader.

17. We see the document is signed, and
the signatures are valid.

18. By right-clicking on the signature and
selecting Validate Signature...
