In the real world, you don’t have infinite resources; you don’t have a perfect product; and you don’t sell to a growing market without competition. You’re also not omnipotent, so you cannot enforce what people think your brand represents. Under these assumptions, most companies need all the help they can get with branding. CV of Javier Rosado (Copenhaguen), Denmark)
Competent and flexible Tourism Manager with over 8 years’ experience in sales and a special enthusiastic commitment to customer service. An energetic motivating leader and natural team player with sense of responsibility and solving problems. Excellent coordination and communication skills and especially efficient working in cross-cultural environments.
In this newly globalizing world, we tend to minimize the effect that culture has on business efficiency and productivity; we think, quite rationally, that working globally is more a question of adaptability. Indeed, why should I have more problems working with someone from another culture? Reality shows us however that messages and expectations are not always perceived as expected. Why is that? And what can we do about it?
After career counseling and guidance from people in the field, I am evaluating my career path. My strengths would indicate a job in change management or management consultancy.

There are good hotels – with well-defined
processes and systems. And there are great
hotels – with people who are motivated to go to
work every morning, who go to extra lengths to
provide excellent service and who are great team
players – team players who are also exceptional
leaders.
Exceptional leaders impart vision and energy into
their teams, extract value for their businesses and

The City of Lausanne
Nestled along the shores of Lake Geneva, in the
French-speaking part of Switzerland called the
Swiss Riviera, historic Lausanne dates back 2,000
years. It has Europe’s biggest lake at its feet, the
French and Swiss Alps as a backdrop, meadows and
forests to the north and vineyards on either side,
East and West.
This lakeside town offers a wealth of attractive sights
and sites! Ancient architecture, narrow streets and
cobbled squares hosting food markets provide for
only some of its charm. And, of course, as home of
the International Olympic Committee, the range of
sport activities in Lausanne is enormous.
Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, the first hospitality
school in the world, is located about 7 km above
the centre of Lausanne, in the village of Chalet-à-
Gobet. Established in 1893, EHL combines
European savoir-vivre with modern facilities.
Campus life here offers you the picturesque
surrounding countryside, with a magnificent view
of the French Alps across Lake Geneva.
