Copyright and Fair Use You are tasked with creating a presentation for your organization which defines guidelines for copyright and fair use that is applicable to your organization’s use of communication and media. (Your organization can be real or fictitious, but the organization you represent should reflect current or future career goals.) Your presentation must include the following elements directly applied to the organization’s needs and uses: An overview of the types of intellectual property An explanation of what is copyrightable Conditions under which copyrighted material can be used An explanation of public domain, creative commons, and fair use Copyright and media use recommendations for your organization Presentation requirements: 10-12 slide presentation with slide notes or audio voiceover. This can be done using PowerPoint or Prezi. (Review the Technology Quick Guides available in the course Dashboard in the left-hand sidebar for tips and instructions.) Reference slide with minimum of three sources in APA format. Be prepared to submit your presentation file or a link to your presentation to your instructor for grading and to share your presentation with your classmates in the ungraded discussion forum.
