Volunteers from Mattel Bangkok Co., Ltd., teachers, students, villagers, and the My School team helped with the renovations, installing walls, painting, and setting up a new library and computer area. The renovations transformed crowded and outdated classrooms into brighter learning spaces. A handing over ceremony was held on June 13, 2010 to celebrate the completion of the project and thank the volunteers for improving educational opportunities for students.

Coliling National High School has a standard education. Most teachers of Coliling National High School are truly great and dedicated teachers, teachers whom I find very inspiring. They are always there to guide and mentor us student teachers in terms of difficulties. They always give their time, patience, kindness and most of all their help and support.
This day, I fully realized that I am really meant for teaching profession because of the unforgettable experiences that I had encountered during the field study courses, especially the actual teaching experiences. I am thankful to be a teacher. The simplest answer to the question “Why?” is because I love it. I love it because it helps me to grow as a human being. It has created meaning in my life. Indeed, it is a daily realization. It is not easy. It is hard, disappointing, frustrating, and ultimately, powerful to make a difference in the life of my students.

The students at Panchayat union middle school in vadathandalam were creating waste by leaving paper scraps around the classroom, making it untidy. To address this, the teachers and students came up with the idea to teach the students how to make origami shapes out of the scrap paper. They practiced making shapes like peacocks, frogs, and flowers. This developed the students' creative thinking and concentration. As a result, the students no longer left paper scraps in the classroom, instead using the waste for origami. The classroom became cleaner and the students' creative skills improved.
