HOSA - During my 4 years as a
HOSA member, I went to HOSA

friends every year. Two out of the
three years I got to walk on stage as
a HOSA Finalist. HOSA was such a
great experience and taught me a
lot about the medical field.
Interact/SAVE - I only did
Interact/SAVE for one year, but
during that year I got to participate a
lot more with my school activities. I
also got to be an advocate for
speaking up in violence and bullying
which I cherished a lot.

All in all I learned a lot from Highland. I also made some good
friends. I do believe I learned a lot more about life from my
elective classes such as creative writing than what I learned
from my academic classes. I did enjoy the pathway aspect of
Highland, but I do regret not being able to take some classes
offered at my feeder school, such as culinary classes and
childhood development classes. Overall, I had a good high
school experience and I am okay with my decision of going
here, but if I could do it over I would have chosen differently.
