 Processing and reviewing all Air shipping documents and making sure that all
shipping instructions are followed as per IATA regulations and as per client's
requirements.
Dealing and coordinating with World wide agents from different origins in
handling and proceeding with air import shipments or Export Door Deliver
shipment.
 Assisting in negotiating with agents in order to get the best charges in import
shipment as well as most competitive rates via different airline services for
clients
 Following up with agents thorough step by step follow up in order to make
sure that all shipping instructions are applied as requested and shipments are
handled with the optimum accuracy and effectiveness
 Follow up the Booking for import shipment in order to arrange releasing on
time and arranging with customs clearance dep. To start clearance processing
on time.
 Following up with clients & providing them with all details related to their
import shipments as well as providing status reports for clients.
 Using e-services (e-Booking-e-Tracking…. ) with Air Lines /Shipping Lines
which provided this services to ensure that shipments arrived as scheduled
 Coordinating with the documentation/customer service team in case any
shipment is delayed (flight cancellation /rebooking) or any discrepancy took
place (missing documents, deficiency of parcels, wrong documents. ..etc) in
order to solve any problem on time either with the airline or with relevant
agent
 Assisting in settling any financial pending issue or dispute (issuance of wrong
invoices/missing profit shares) with agents or documentation/accounting..
 Handling Door-To- Door-, EX-W, DDU, Temporary Import &
exhibitions ,Hazard ,Imo ,Over Weight ,Over Size ,Live Animals ,… all kind
of shipments - understanding all incoterms 2000-2010
 Updating rates database.
ACCOUNTING DUTIES RELATED TO AVIATION & FREIGHT
SERVICES:
 Preparing regular IATA sales report’s to be submitted to airline
companies.
 Auditing airlines IATA sales report’s (CASS reports).
 Control cash flow customers & suppliers (air line companies direct
payments & CASS accounts payments & shipping line payments
& agents payments) .
 Preparing and check customer invoices and customers
statements.
 Check invoices before payment (agent invoices –airlines invoices
–shipping line invoices.)
 Controlling agents account’s and due payment and preparing bank
transfer application for the international agents on time.
 Follow up the annual payment (IATA –FIATA-EIFFA ,….) And
communication with them
 Participate with top management in set pricing policies for
services cost
 Flexibility in decision-making and the right occasion when you
combine between the working in operation management and
financial management.
