Summit 16: OPNFV: Moving to Support Real Time ApplicationsOPNFV
Cloudification of non-real-time applications such as the mobile core network is moving quickly towards production. The next challenge is the cloudification of the real-time applications including the radio networks. This is the next challenge for OPNFV. Nokia sees the potential of OPNFV as a real-time application platform. Therefore, Nokia is supporting OPNFV on AirFrame and working on solving the issues of real-time applications. This talk is about the challenges and the road towards OPNFV becoming the basis for the platform of the radio cloud.
Nokia's solution involves deploying community hosted zero-touch base stations to provide connectivity in rural areas. This dramatically reduces the cost of rural coverage by up to 90% compared to traditional networks, while also reducing maintenance costs by over 75% by empowering communities to manage their own base stations. The solution aims to provide a similar user experience to setting up a WiFi access point. It also enables new mobile applications in rural communities and helps local economies by supporting tourism, healthcare, education and more through improved connectivity.
The document analyzes location update reject causes in a MOCN configuration where the core network (CN) is incorrectly replying to redirection attempts. Three sample traces show location updates being rejected for CSFB with the redirect flag set correctly by the BSC, but the CN replying with "Reroute Complete" instead of "Reroute Command" as required by 3GPP standards. This issue is causing location update rejects with the cause "PLMN-not-allowed".
The document discusses Nokia's Core Network as a Service offering and the advantages it provides. The core network solution allows for flexible, versatile, resilient and scalable virtual core instances to meet the needs of different operators and use cases. It also describes how the shared core network of the Altán Redes project in Colombia could support multiple mobile network operators and IoT providers in an efficient and cost effective manner.
This document provides a summary of new features for the Nokia LTE RAN Release FDD-LTE 19, including:
1) New BTS site solutions that support mixed centralized RFMs and additional WCDMA/LTE C-RFS configurations.
2) Transmission features like physical TRS interfaces, Ethernet transport, IP transport, TRS QoS, synchronization, and TRS porting.
3) Radio resource management and telecom features.
The document contains detailed information on over 20 new AirScale products and configurations that are part of this release.
The document provides instructions for using the Spectralink Installation & Configuration (SLIC) tool to configure Spectralink 87-Series wireless handsets. It describes connecting the SLIC unit and a laptop, running the wireless wizard on the SLIC to configure network settings, and using a USB connection to load the settings onto each handset. It recommends always using the latest versions of the SLIC software and phone code for compatibility. The document also provides troubleshooting tips and references for additional documentation.

The document describes the RG301726: Uplink Min RXLevel Based Access feature, which aims to improve call drop ratio (DCR) key performance indicators by filtering out random access channel (RACH) bursts received from mobile stations on the common control channel (CCCH) that have an uplink received signal level below a configurable threshold. This reduces the number of SDCCH call drops by not allocating channel resources to calls that are unlikely to succeed due to low signal quality. The base station transceiver system rejects RACH bursts below the threshold and reports them to the base station controller.

This document provides an overview of wound healing, its functions, stages, mechanisms, factors affecting it, and complications.
A wound is a break in the integrity of the skin or tissues, which may be associated with disruption of the structure and function.
Healing is the body’s response to injury in an attempt to restore normal structure and functions.
Healing can occur in two ways: Regeneration and Repair
There are 4 phases of wound healing: hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and remodeling. This document also describes the mechanism of wound healing. Factors that affect healing include infection, uncontrolled diabetes, poor nutrition, age, anemia, the presence of foreign bodies, etc.
Complications of wound healing like infection, hyperpigmentation of scar, contractures, and keloid formation.
How to Make a Field Mandatory in Odoo 17Celine George
In Odoo, making a field required can be done through both Python code and XML views. When you set the required attribute to True in Python code, it makes the field required across all views where it's used. Conversely, when you set the required attribute in XML views, it makes the field required only in the context of that particular view.
