Report data was required to be in a specific format, but there was no exact report in the point of sale system to use for this. The POS report had device models listed, but the data required was the 5-digit SKU code for that product. This program used a list of SKUs from the point of sale system to convert the model names on the report to the numbered SKU.

1. Convert Device to SKU - September 2014 (VBA/Excel)
A reconcile process required a specific form to be filled out. This data could exported from the point of sale system
in a mirrored format, but the report had device models listed on it. The reconcile form required a unique 5-digit SKU
code/barcode. Normally, this report contained hundreds of line items. A program was created with an exported
list of SKU codes from the point of sale system (with the corresponding model). The program was made into a
tool to read the columns from any external workbook, and convert the contents in it from a device model to SKU,
or vice versa. Without a program, this process could have been done in 15 seconds per line item. With the
program, it would take 10 seconds for all line items to be done.
This program was made in Excel, but there is no Excel interface to it. When you open the workbook, it validates that other
workbooks are open. If they are, this form is displayed. After choosing something for 1-4, clicking OK would convert the data
directly on the source workbook. If no other workbooks are open, this workbook will automatically close.
