This document analyzes variables that affect Super Bowl winners. The authors collected data on 50 Super Bowls, including winning/losing teams, scores, stadium types, and weather. They created charts showing interval win by team and number of Super Bowl wins. Regression analysis found interval win and the teams Pittsburgh, New England, and the NY Giants as significant. These three teams had each won the Super Bowl multiple times. The regression predicted they would win by their average interval points if they appeared in another Super Bowl, based on their past success.
