INTRODUCTION
The survival of corporate industries is dependent on maximizing profits from existing capabilities,
leaders of companies must work hard to engage office employees to make or maintain their
companies’ profitability. Leadership and different associated types & role have impact on how
employees perform and grow, to lead positive organisational outcomes. For ages, leadership has
been a subject of much debate and deliberation and how different styles of leadership evoke
different responses from the followers. In corporate context the dynamics of these two entities the
leader and the led play a key role in shaping the destiny of the organisation. The global financial
crisis has resulted in a wave of unprecedented challenges to the world’s economic & political
order. In a situation of turbulence, the one key factor that can make a difference, through foresight
and dexterity, is Leadership. Leadership as a dynamic process whereby one man influences other
to contribute voluntarily to the realization and attainment of the goals objectives; aspiration of
values of the group that is representing the essence of Leadership is to help a group or an
Organisation to attain sustainable development and growth. Leadership is defined as “the position
or function of a leader, a person who guides or directs a group” Most think of a leader as the head
of an organization.
Leadership and management are the terms that are often considered synonymous. It is essential to
understand that leadership is an essential part of effective management. As an office manager,
you’ll be required to lead your team on, no matter what. It’s ok when things are going well, but
what happens when they need a boost, by a true leadership, though, can get the team back on
course and to do work happily and efficiently. Leadership is a process by which an executive can
direct, guide and influence the behaviour and work of others towards accomplishment of specific
goals in a given situation. Leadership is the ability of an Office manager to induce the
subordinates to work with confidence and zeal. Leadership is the potential to influence behaviour
of others. It is also defined as the capacity to influence a group towards the realization of a goal.
Leaders are required to develop future visions, and to motivate the Office team members to want
to achieve the visions. Also, “Leadership is the ability to persuade others to seek defined
objectives enthusiastically. It is the human factor which binds a group together and motivates it
towards goals.”
LEADERSHIP
Leadership provides direction for a company and its workers. Employees need to know the
direction in which the company is headed and who to follow and being a good follower to reach
the destination. Leadership involves showing workers how to effectively communicate, perform
their responsibilities and regularly supervising the completion of their tasks.
Leadership is also about setting a positive example for staff to follow, by being excited about the
work, being motivated to learn new things, and helping out as needed in both individual and team
activities. Leadership involves setting and achieving goals, taking action, Managing the whole
team hand beating the competition, but it also relates to the tone of the company's Office
management and what kind of culture is built for the employees. The positive leadership
behaviours bring positive work outcomes.

ROLE OF LEADERSHIP IN OFFICE MANAGEMENT
Provide a Vision
Providing a vision for the entire healthcare office team is the single most important role of the
practice owner. Employees cannot be expected to participate in a common effort if they don’t
know the goals of the practice. When team members know the vision and goals of the practice,
they are more focused and understand how their individual role helps to drive the success of the
business.
Be an Effective Role Model
Demonstrate the behaviour desired from the rest of the healthcare team. Practice owners that
display outbursts of anger, make snap decisions with no regard to the potential outcome for the
staff, demonstrate uncaring attitudes, show favouritism for some employees, withhold information
from the staff, procrastinate on important decisions, tolerate lack of accountability, demonstrate
inconsistencies in client service or fail to listen to their employees will not be as respected by the
team and likely will not be as successful in achieving their business goals.
Inspire and Motivate
The definition of leadership is to “inspire, influence and guide others to participate in a common
effort.” Good leaders don’t just bark orders or hand out directives with no explanation. Instead
they use effective communication and motivation techniques to facilitate action by their teams.
Leaders that inspire and motivate their teams solicit input from employees, keep team members
informed, give timely and specific feedback regarding job performance, ensure training needs are
met and hold employees accountable
Delegate and Empower
Good leaders surround themselves with the right people in the right jobs. This facilitates being
able to lead rather than manage. For practice owners, this starts by hiring an effective manager or
administrator. Depending on the size of the practice, an office manager, a practice manager or a
hospital administrator is the highest management position. Practice owners need to begin the
process of effective delegation and empowerment with this individual. All too often, veterinary
practices don’t have a practice manager with the necessary skills for their position or the practice
owner unwittingly sabotages this person’s success by overloading them with responsibility for
neglecting to empower them to achieve practice goals.
Establish Effective Organizational Structure and Communication Protocols
Set up a clearly defined organizational structure which includes an organizational chart outlining
the chain of command and protocols for effective communication. Members of the healthcare
team need to understand who they report to when they have questions or concerns. To facilitate
effective communication and efficiency, develop communication protocols. Many practices find it
helpful to use email, hospital newsletters, and memos to augment their one-on-one communication
and staff meeting interactions. The type of communication method utilized should be appropriate
for the content of the message. Memos are fine to convey announcements and information on
minor issues. Face-to-face meetings are necessary to discuss important issues or convey
information that is sensitive or may result in questions.
Effective Time Management
Leadership helps in effective time management of company and Part of being an effective leader
includes effective time management. If you spend most of your time fielding complaints and
reacting to problems, this may be a sign that you are not delegating effectively or empowering
team members that’s why effective time management is very important

Leaders certainly have their moment in the spotlight, but effective managers also give their
employees time and opportunities to shine. Part of being a team leader or company leader means
you should help your employees grow and thrive in their roles. That means giving feedback—both
positive feedback when they've done something particularly well and constructive criticism when
you notice a skill or task upon which they can improve, offering direction and celebrating success,
even if it's not your personal victory.
TYPE OF LEADERSHIP
Autocratic Leadership
Autocratic leadership is a management style wherein one person controls all the decisions and
takes very little inputs from other group members. Autocratic leaders make choices or decisions
based on their own beliefs and do not involve others for their suggestion or advice. This type of
leadership style is only effective in offices where the nature of work requires quick decision-
making and greater productivity under leader’s supervision. An autocratic leadership style is not
meant to be flexible. It enforces a strict, obedient environment, which is why it works well in
situations that benefit from a lot of control. The ability to make decisive, crucial calls is the key
trait of an autocratic leader. Autocratic leadership is an aggressive leadership style that’s based on
control. A person with an autocratic leadership style expects promptness and perfection from the
people around them.
Democratic leadership
Democratic leadership also known as participative leadership or shared leadership, is a type
of leadership style in which members of the group take a more participative role in the decision-
making process. Everyone is given the opportunity to participate, ideas are exchanged freely, and
discussion is encouraged. While the democratic process tends to focus on group equality and the
free flow of ideas, the leader of the group is still there to offer guidance and control. The
democratic leader is charged with deciding who is in the group and who gets to contribute to the
decisions that are made. democratic leadership style is one of the most effective types and leads to
higher productivity, better contributions from group members, and increased group morale. Good
democratic leaders possess specific traits that include honesty, intelligence, courage, creativity,
competence, and fairness. Strong democratic leaders inspire trust and respect among followers.
These leaders are sincere and make decisions based on their morals and values. Followers tend to
feel inspired to take action and contribute to the group. Democratic leadership works best in
situation where group members are skilled and eager to share their knowledge. It is also important
to have plenty of time to allow people to contribute, develop plan, and then vote on the best course
of action.
Laissez-faire leadership
Laissez-faire leadership also known as delegate leadership, is a type of leadership style in which
leaders are hands-off and allow group members to make the decisions. many leaders still remain
open and available to group members for consultation and feedback. They might provide direction
at the beginning of a project, but then allow group members to do their jobs with little oversight.
This approach to leadership requires a great deal of trust. Leaders need to feel confident that the
members of their group Possesses the skill, Knowledge, and follow through to a complete project.
This style is particularly effective in situation where group members are more knowledgeable than
the group leader Laissez-Faire style allows them to demonstrate their deep knowledge and skill
surrounding that particular subject. Laissez-faire leadership It encourages personal growth, It
encourages innovation, It allows for faster decision-making. The team/employees are welcomed to
share their views and provide suggestions which are best for organizational interests.
Bureaucratic leadership
Bureaucratic leadership relies on a clear chain of command, strict regulations, and conformation
by its follower’s. Bureaucratic leadership is leadership based upon fixed official duties under a
hierarchy of authority, applying a system of rules for management and decision-making. This style
of leadership can be advantageous in highly regulated lines of business, and it can be an efficient
management style in companies. In this style employees have to follow the rules Properly given by
leader. Promotions take place on the basis of employees’ ability to adhere to organizational rules.
This leadership style gradually develops over time. This leadership style is more suitable when
safe work conditions and quality are required. In a business, a bureaucratic leader uses employee
management and decision-making. You can use bureaucratic leadership most often in
administrative environments, where strict rule-following and a defined hierarchy are important.

as planned manner.
charismatic leadership style
In office a charismatic leader automatically or intelligently attracts people just by being inspiring
others and their own charming selves. These types of people are Confident Self-starters Passionate
about what they do. a leader who uses his or her communication skills, persuasiveness, and charm
to influence others. Charismatic leaders, given their ability to connect with people on a deep level,
are especially valuable within organizations and they have better commitment and better vision to
their valuable team. charismatic leadership style Creates movement toward positive change
Also, they are Highly inspirational and motivating, encourages a sense of camaraderie,
collaboration, and union they Makes followers feel heard and understood.
Transformational Leadership style
Transformational leadership is a leadership style in which leaders encourage, inspire and motivate
employees to innovate and create change that will help grow and shape the future success of the
company and pushing them in their comfort zones regularly, and consistently motivating their
teams to raise their bar for achievements This is accomplished by setting an example at the
executive level through a strong sense of corporate culture, employee ownership and independence
in the workplace. Transformational leaders inspire and motivate their workforce. they trust trained
employees to take authority over decisions in their assigned jobs. It’s a management style that’s
designed to give employees more room to be creative, look to the future and find new solutions to
old problems. Employees on the leadership track will also be prepared to become transformational
leaders themselves through mentorship and training. This style of management is agile and
growth-focused. Managers work alongside with their employees, inspiring their team to ever
greater efforts by demonstrating their own work ethic.
Visionary Leadership style
This leadership style is based on ingenuity, ideation and the power to mobilize a team toward
change. The visionary leader is an asset in every business poised for expansion. This leader creates
an environment where employees are confident taking risks and willing to weather the storm.
Ultimately, process improvement and efficiency is the force behind visionary leadership.
A visionary leader turns vision into reality by creating a vivid image of the target they need to
attain and creating a specific strategic plan for the coming year. The leader details what goals the
company must accomplish and specific responsibilities of each key team member. Along the way,
the leader keeps the team informed of their progress.
IMPORTANCE OF LEADERSHIP IN OFFICE MANAGEMENT
An effective leader of a team has a variety of traits and characteristics that encourage team
members to follow him or her. Team leaders naturally possess certain qualities, such as
compassion and integrity, or learn leadership skills through formal training and experience. Being
an effective leader can instil confidence in the team as well as contribute to the growth of the
department through improved team productivity. The following examines why leadership is
important in the office and how employees can develop leadership skills.
1. Provides focus and drives the team forward. A leader provides focus to the team by clearly
defining goals and explaining objectives so that every member on the team understands the
end goal they are working to achieve. They also keep the team on track and moving forward
by setting and enforcing deadlines. One way that an effective leader does this is by checking
on each team member’s progress and helping them resolve any issues before they become big
problems.
2. Empowers team members to work at their full potential. A good leader knows the skills
and capabilities of his/her team members and is able to assign them tasks that take advantage
of their strengths. A leader also encourages communication and builds relationships among
team members so that they may work successfully and learn from one another. In addition, a
leader knows how to motivate and encourage his/her team members to do their best work
through acknowledgement and praise.
3. Takes responsibility for decision-making. When the team is unable to make a choice
between multiple decisions, a leader steps up and makes a decision for the whole team so that
work is not delayed. They do this by having a good balance of emotional and logical
reasoning, in order to make an impartial choice that benefits the project and the team. At the
same time, they take responsibility for the decisions they make and do not shift the blame onto
their team members when something goes wrong, but instead work to fix the problem.
HOW TO DEVELOP YOUR LEADERSHIP SKILLS?
1. Volunteer for new tasks. Volunteer for new tasks when your manager or supervisor asks for
additional help. This allows you to learn new skills and you can also practice how to react
when facing new challenges. You will learn to remain calm and level headed when faced with
unfamiliar work and find out ways to gather more information from available resources to help
you complete your task. This is useful practice because leaders are often faced with difficult
situations and need to keep their composure in order to make sensible decisions.
2. Teach and share information with others. Teaching others helps you to train your patience,
think from another person’s perspective, and increase your knowledge of the subject matter.
When you teach someone else, particularly someone that is a beginner, you examine and
organize the information in a different way so that they can understand it more easily. This is
the same as being a leader, in order to communicate well with your team members, you may
need to re-organize and explain information in a way they can easily comprehend.
3. Understand your strengths and weaknesses. Examine your strengths and weaknesses so that
you know which strengths you can take advantage of and which weaknesses you need to
improve. For example, if your strength is that you’re sociable and get along well with others,
this can develop into a leader-ship role where you’re able to motivate others to complete a
project. On the other hand, your weakness may be that you find it difficult to think
conceptually in terms of the “big picture,” so you may want to improve by practicing
brainstorming sessions on how a decision affects the office half-year, one year, and five years
down the line.
Leadership skills can be practiced at any level regardless of the title you have. They are important
skills to have because a good leader is able to bring out the best abilities in his/her team members
and motivate them to work together in achieving a shared goal. A good leader is also organized
and keeps the team on track and focused to avoid delays.
CONCLUSION
First of all, we have talked about the Leadership, the best leaders of the modern workforce in
offices bring these unique leadership styles to everything they do. They motivate diverse teams,
drive innovation, and mentor employees so the business can grow

LEADERSHIP INTRODUCTION The survival of corporate industries is dependent on maximizing profits from existing capabilities, leaders of companies must work hard to engage office employees to make or maintain their companies’ profitability. Leadership and different associated types & role have impact on how employees perform and grow, to lead positive organisational outcomes. For ages, leadership has been a subject of much debate and deliberation and how different styles of leadership evoke different responses from the followers. In corporate context the dynamics of these two entities the leader and the led play a key role in shaping the destiny of the organisation. The global financial crisis has resulted in a wave of unprecedented challenges to the world’s economic & political order. In a situation of turbulence, the one key factor that can make a difference, through foresight and dexterity, is Leadership. Leadership as a dynamic process whereby one man influences other to contribute voluntarily to the realization and attainment of the goals objectives; aspiration of values of the group that is representing the essence of Leadership is to help a group or an Organisation to attain sustainable development and growth. Leadership is defined as “the position or function of a leader, a person who guides or directs a group” Most think of a leader as the head of an organization. Leadership and management are the terms that are often considered synonymous. It is essential to understand that leadership is an essential part of effective management. As an office manager, you’ll be required to lead your team on, no matter what. It’s ok when things are going well, but what happens when they need a boost, by a true leadership, though, can get the team back on course and to do work happily and efficiently. Leadership is a process by which an executive can direct, guide and influence the behaviour and work of others towards accomplishment of specific goals in a given situation. Leadership is the ability of an Office manager to induce the subordinates to work with confidence and zeal. Leadership is the potential to influence behaviour of others. It is also defined as the capacity to influence a group towards the realization of a goal. Leaders are required to develop future visions, and to motivate the Office team members to want to achieve the visions. Also, “Leadership is the ability to persuade others to seek defined objectives enthusiastically. It is the human factor which binds a group together and motivates it towards goals.”
  • 5. LEADERSHIP Leadership provides direction for a company and its workers. Employees need to know the direction in which the company is headed and who to follow and being a good follower to reach the destination. Leadership involves showing workers how to effectively communicate, perform their responsibilities and regularly supervising the completion of their tasks. Leadership is also about setting a positive example for staff to follow, by being excited about the work, being motivated to learn new things, and helping out as needed in both individual and team activities. Leadership involves setting and achieving goals, taking action, Managing the whole team hand beating the competition, but it also relates to the tone of the company's Office management and what kind of culture is built for the employees.   • 6. ROLE OF LEADERSHIP IN OFFICE MANAGEMENT Provide a Vision Providing a vision for the entire healthcare office team is the single most important role of the practice owner. Employees cannot be expected to participate in a common effort if they don’t know the goals of the practice. When team members know the vision and goals of the practice, they are more focused and understand how their individual role helps to drive the success of the business. Be an Effective Role Model Demonstrate the behaviour desired from the rest of the healthcare team. Practice owners that display outbursts of anger, make snap decisions with no regard to the potential outcome for the staff, demonstrate uncaring attitudes, show favouritism for some employees, withhold information from the staff, procrastinate on important decisions, tolerate lack of accountability, demonstrate inconsistencies in client service or fail to listen to their employees will not be as respected by the team and likely will not be as successful in achieving their business goals. Inspire and Motivate The definition of leadership is to “inspire, influence and guide others to participate in a common effort.” Good leaders don’t just bark orders or hand out directives with no explanation. Instead they use effective communication and motivation techniques to facilitate action by their teams. Leaders that inspire and motivate their teams solicit input from employees, keep team members informed, give timely and specific feedback regarding job performance, ensure training needs are met and hold employees accountable Delegate and Empower Good leaders surround themselves with the right people in the right jobs. This facilitates being able to lead rather than manage. For practice owners, this starts by hiring an effective manager or administrator. Depending on the size of the practice, an office manager, a practice manager or a hospital administrator is the highest management position. Practice owners need to begin the process of effective delegation and empowerment with this individual. All too often, veterinary practices don’t have a practice manager with the necessary skills for their position or the practice owner unwittingly sabotages this person’s success by overloading them with responsibility for neglecting to empower them to achieve practice goals. Establish Effective Organizational Structure and Communication Protocols Set up a clearly defined organizational structure which includes an organizational chart outlining the chain of command and protocols for effective communication. Members of the healthcare team need to understand who they report to when they have questions or concerns. To facilitate effective communication and efficiency, develop communication protocols. Many practices find it helpful to use email, hospital newsletters, and memos to augment their one-on-one communication and staff meeting interactions. The type of communication method utilized should be appropriate for the content of the message. Memos are fine to convey announcements and information on minor issues. Face-to-face meetings are necessary to discuss important issues or convey information that is sensitive or may result in questions.
  • 7. Effective Time Management Leadership helps in effective time management of company and Part of being an effective leader includes effective time management. If you spend most of your time fielding complaints and reacting to problems, this may be a sign that you are not delegating effectively or empowering team members that’s why effective time management is very important Coach Leaders certainly have their moment in the spotlight, but effective managers also give their employees time and opportunities to shine. Part of being a team leader or company leader means you should help your employees grow and thrive in their roles. That means giving feedback—both positive feedback when they've done something particularly well and constructive criticism when you notice a skill or task upon which they can improve, offering direction and celebrating success, even if it's not your personal victory. TYPE OF LEADERSHIP Autocratic Leadership Autocratic leadership is a management style wherein one person controls all the decisions and takes very little inputs from other group members. Autocratic leaders make choices or decisions based on their own beliefs and do not involve others for their suggestion or advice. This type of leadership style is only effective in offices where the nature of work requires quick decision- making and greater productivity under leader’s supervision. An autocratic leadership style is not meant to be flexible. It enforces a strict, obedient environment, which is why it works well in situations that benefit from a lot of control. The ability to make decisive, crucial calls is the key trait of an autocratic leader. Autocratic leadership is an aggressive leadership style that’s based on control. A person with an autocratic leadership style expects promptness and perfection from the people around them. Democratic leadership Democratic leadership also known as participative leadership or shared leadership, is a type of leadership style in which members of the group take a more participative role in the decision- making process. Everyone is given the opportunity to participate, ideas are exchanged freely, and discussion is encouraged. While the democratic process tends to focus on group equality and the free flow of ideas, the leader of the group is still there to offer guidance and control. The democratic leader is charged with deciding who is in the group and who gets to contribute to the decisions that are made. democratic leadership style is one of the most effective types and leads to higher productivity, better contributions from group members, and increased group morale. Good democratic leaders possess specific traits that include honesty, intelligence, courage, creativity, competence, and fairness. Strong democratic leaders inspire trust and respect among followers. These leaders are sincere and make decisions based on their morals and values. Followers tend to
  • 8. feel inspired to take action and contribute to the group. Democratic leadership works best in situation where group members are skilled and eager to share their knowledge. It is also important to have plenty of time to allow people to contribute, develop plan, and then vote on the best course of action. Laissez-faire leadership Laissez-faire leadership also known as delegate leadership, is a type of leadership style in which leaders are hands-off and allow group members to make the decisions. many leaders still remain open and available to group members for consultation and feedback. They might provide direction at the beginning of a project, but then allow group members to do their jobs with little oversight. This approach to leadership requires a great deal of trust. Leaders need to feel confident that the members of their group Possesses the skill, Knowledge, and follow through to a complete project. This style is particularly effective in situation where group members are more knowledgeable than the group leader Laissez-Faire style allows them to demonstrate their deep knowledge and skill surrounding that particular subject. Laissez-faire leadership It encourages personal growth, It encourages innovation, It allows for faster decision-making. The team/employees are welcomed to share their views and provide suggestions which are best for organizational interests. Bureaucratic leadership Bureaucratic leadership relies on a clear chain of command, strict regulations, and conformation by its follower’s. Bureaucratic leadership is leadership based upon fixed official duties under a hierarchy of authority, applying a system of rules for management and decision-making. This style of leadership can be advantageous in highly regulated lines of business, and it can be an efficient management style in companies. In this style employees have to follow the rules Properly given by leader. Promotions take place on the basis of employees’ ability to adhere to organizational rules. This leadership style gradually develops over time. This leadership style is more suitable when safe work conditions and quality are required. In a business, a bureaucratic leader uses employee management and decision-making. You can use bureaucratic leadership most often in administrative environments, where strict rule-following and a defined hierarchy are important. Bureaucratic leadership having structured system to make sure that people carried out their tasks as planned manner. charismatic leadership style In office a charismatic leader automatically or intelligently attracts people just by being inspiring others and their own charming selves. These types of people are Confident Self-starters Passionate about what they do. a leader who uses his or her communication skills, persuasiveness, and charm to influence others. Charismatic leaders, given their ability to connect with people on a deep level, are especially valuable within organizations and they have better commitment and better vision to their valuable team. charismatic leadership style Creates movement toward positive change Also, they are Highly inspirational and motivating, encourages a sense of camaraderie, collaboration, and union they Makes followers feel heard and understood. Transformational Leadership style Transformational leadership is a leadership style in which leaders encourage, inspire and motivate employees to innovate and create change that will help grow and shape the future success of the
  • 9. company and pushing them in their comfort zones regularly, and consistently motivating their teams to raise their bar for achievements This is accomplished by setting an example at the executive level through a strong sense of corporate culture, employee ownership and independence in the workplace. Transformational leaders inspire and motivate their workforce. they trust trained employees to take authority over decisions in their assigned jobs. It’s a management style that’s designed to give employees more room to be creative, look to the future and find new solutions to old problems. Employees on the leadership track will also be prepared to become transformational leaders themselves through mentorship and training. This style of management is agile and growth-focused. Managers work alongside with their employees, inspiring their team to ever greater efforts by demonstrating their own work ethic. Visionary Leadership style This leadership style is based on ingenuity, ideation and the power to mobilize a team toward change. The visionary leader is an asset in every business poised for expansion. This leader creates an environment where employees are confident taking risks and willing to weather the storm. Ultimately, process improvement and efficiency is the force behind visionary leadership. A visionary leader turns vision into reality by creating a vivid image of the target they need to attain and creating a specific strategic plan for the coming year. The leader details what goals the company must accomplish and specific responsibilities of each key team member. Along the way, the leader keeps the team informed of their progress. IMPORTANCE OF LEADERSHIP IN OFFICE MANAGEMENT An effective leader of a team has a variety of traits and characteristics that encourage team members to follow him or her. Team leaders naturally possess certain qualities, such as compassion and integrity, or learn leadership skills through formal training and experience. Being an effective leader can instil confidence in the team as well as contribute to the growth of the department through improved team productivity. The following examines why leadership is important in the office and how employees can develop leadership skills. 1. Provides focus and drives the team forward. A leader provides focus to the team by clearly defining goals and explaining objectives so that every member on the team understands the end goal they are working to achieve. They also keep the team on track and moving forward by setting and enforcing deadlines. One way that an effective leader does this is by checking on each team member’s progress and helping them resolve any issues before they become big problems. 2. Empowers team members to work at their full potential. A good leader knows the skills and capabilities of his/her team members and is able to assign them tasks that take advantage of their strengths. A leader also encourages communication and builds relationships among team members so that they may work successfully and learn from one another. In addition, a leader knows how to motivate and encourage his/her team members to do their best work through acknowledgement and praise. 3. Takes responsibility for decision-making. When the team is unable to make a choice between multiple decisions, a leader steps up and makes a decision for the whole team so that work is not delayed. They do this by having a good balance of emotional and logical reasoning, in order to make an impartial choice that benefits the project and the team. At the same time, they take responsibility for the decisions they make and do not shift the blame onto their team members when something goes wrong, but instead work to fix the problem.
  • 10. HOW TO DEVELOP YOUR LEADERSHIP SKILLS? 1. Volunteer for new tasks. Volunteer for new tasks when your manager or supervisor asks for additional help. This allows you to learn new skills and you can also practice how to react when facing new challenges. You will learn to remain calm and level headed when faced with unfamiliar work and find out ways to gather more information from available resources to help you complete your task. This is useful practice because leaders are often faced with difficult situations and need to keep their composure in order to make sensible decisions. 2. Teach and share information with others. Teaching others helps you to train your patience, think from another person’s perspective, and increase your knowledge of the subject matter.
