The objective of this consumer research is to analyze the consumer
preferences for soft drink.
• For this Purpose we selected a sample size of 80 random students of
IQRA University for Our study.
• Out of which 81.4% people are Male whom age ranged between18-
50, and 18.8% people are Female whom age ranged in between 18-
50
• Respondents were asked about their favorite Brand of Soda from the
options provided. Which included Pepsi, Coca Cola, Seven
Up, Double Cola, Mountain Dew.

Respondents were asked about the Consumption
Level of their favorite brand of Soft drink
-Results show that, People who prefer COCA COLA,
have an average consumption of 22 Bottle per day
according to Sample Size
-People who prefer PEPSI, consumed 23 Bottle per day.
-People who prefer SEVEN-UP, have an average consumption
of 10 Bottle per day.
-People who prefer DOUBE COLA consumed 1 Bottle per
day, while People who preferred MOUNTAIN DEW, have an
average consumption of 12 Bottle per day.
5. When to consume soft drinks?
O According to the Consumer Survey
Conducted, We came to know that most of the
time People do consume Soft Drink when they
feel Thirsty.
O Here about 56% of the people have chosen this
event.
O 23% of people say that they generally consume
soft drinks in the event of party.
O 9% of the people say that they generally
consume soft drinks when they are travelling.
O About 13 % people have OTHER reason to buy
the soft drinks.
6. Important attribute for buying you
favorite brand of soft drink?
Respondents were asked to rank the attributes given
in questionnaire as the order of importance to buy soft
drink
O Survey findings indicate that Majority (38%) of the
people have selected THIRST as the 1st most
important Attribute of buying their favorite brand of
soft drink.
O 21 % of the people have selected FLAVOR as the
2nd most important attribute
O 12% of the people have selected BRAND as 3rd
most important attribute.
O After that 9%, 8%, 6%, 6% have chosen respective
SWEETNESS, PRICE, AVAILIBILITY and SIZE OF
BOTTLE as the 4th, 5th and 6th most important
attribute.
