One of the vital role of a teacher is the preparation of assessment tools, necessary for him or her to make sound decisions on the performance of the learners. Assessments are of three forms diagnostic which purpose is to determine where to start on the delivery of the teaching-learning activities for a day or a quarter, this includes determining the learning levels of the students on a specific topics, second is formative which is usually done every after teaching-learning activity, that the teacher decide whether or not he or she will continue to the next lesson, and from the result the teacher provides learning activities for enrichment for those who already acquired the skills needed for a certain competency and remediation activities for those who did not meet the desired skill specified in the learning objectives, and lastly is the summative assessment which is given after a certain unit or quarter, this provides information to the teacher on the kind of remarks and or grade that the leaner deserves. However before giving these assessments, a teacher should craft first table of specification, this is a guide of the teacher on how the test will be constructed, this is crafted on the basis of the number of hours a specific lesson was recited. Items that will be made or questions that will be crafted should be proportionate to the number of days or sessions the most essential learning competency was undertaken. Items should range from easy to moderate, but since this assessment is to help learners pass easy part should encompass the 70% of the total number of items, 20% for the moderate and 10% for the difficult part. Test material that will be prepared should be in standard format, meaning it must be multiple choices.
