The author began working for the Intercultural English Language Program in September 2021, where they have designed over twenty online courses through Ohio State University's learning management system, Scarlet Canvas. Most of the coursework is for the TraVerse English Language Training Program, which is used primarily by a Japanese automotive company, and IELP also partners with universities in Korea, China, and works with Fulbright programs through the U.S. Department of State.

National peace and security is a function of overall satisfaction of the citizenry of any nation in an
ideal situation. The satisfaction could be in the form of job-satisfaction, political stability, economic and social
stability or any combination of the above indicators and more. This paper studied the challenges facing the
Work and Study degree programme of the Technology and Vocational Education Department of Ebonyi State
University (EBSU) Abakaliki, with a view to enhancing or improving it for graduate employment and national
security. Survey design was used in the study. Two research questions that guided the study were administered
on a sample of forty (40) respondents and analyzed with frequency count and percentages. From the analysis,
six findings emerged, notable among which was the fact that the award of the WASP Degree Certificate gives
job satisfaction to the recipient. Based on the finding of the study, some recommendations were made to
enhance the WASP programme in Ebonyi State University, Abakaliki. These include; government and
management of the programme should ensure adequate funding of the programme by any means, staff should
also endeavour to update their competency through retraining, it is necessary that a monitoring or supervisory
committee be established to discourage several malpractices and corrupt practices. Where all these are not
attainable, the programme could be scrapped.

conversation on literacy that inspired the project to the current curriculum decisions guiding Utah’s

Utah Chinese Literacy Framework and how it guided the K–12 Chinese curriculum. The early childhood degree program's conceptual framework is based on "Art as a Way of Learning" which views the arts as a symbol system for children to construct knowledge. The framework guides the program and is reflected in its mission and philosophy. While the framework remains grounded in the arts, it has evolved over time to better align with research and standards on diversity, equity and inclusion. The program aims to further strengthen faculty understanding of integrating the arts and issues of social justice through professional development. Plans include aligning the framework with new national standards and ensuring ongoing relevance through periodic reviews.

- 1. I began working for the IELP (Intercultural English Language Program) in September 2021. Since then, I have designed more than twenty courses through Ohio State’s learning managment system, Scarlet Canvas. Using this employee specific software, I collaborated with professors and lecturers to ensure that courses were easily accesible and functional in their design. A majority of the course- work is designed for the TraVerse English Language Training Program which is primarily used by a Japanese multinational manufacturer of automobiles, motorcycles, and power equipment. IELP is also partnered with various international universities including Korea Advanced Insitutue of Science and Technology (KAIST), Zhejiang Normal University (ZJNU), The Buckeye Language Education Resource Center works directly with Fulbright Programs sponsored by the United States Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. They also work with Diversity and Inclusion in the Classroom Seminar Courses I Desgined Scarlet Canvas.
