3. THE MANAGEMENT TEAM
Marianna Pretorius
Marianna is the founder of Connectial and has more than 20 years’ experience in retail
branding, store planning and design, project implementation, change management and
facilities management.
Some of her larger projects include:
• Ericsson – The roll out of new facilities across 32 countries across Africa.
• Ericsson – Project leader on ISO-certification process.
• ETC (SANRAL) – Establishment of facilities management strategy and operations
blueprint.
• Oracle South Africa – Project management of several large-scale building projects
and implementation of holistic facilities management solutions across more than
30 000m² of office premises.
• Telkom Mobile - The roll out of a record 40 retail stores in a 6-week period.

Steve Rose (CA) SA
Steve has been in the property industry for the last 10 years. After completing his articles at
Deloitte and passing his CFA level 2 exam, Steve joined an investment banking firm where he
worked on several property-related project and structured finance initiatives across Africa.
Steve then joined Leaf Capital where he was instrumental in building and managing an
institutional-backed commercial property fund. Prior to joining Connectial as a partner, Steve
focused on several private equity ventures mainly in the connectivity and renewable energy
sectors.

7. ENERGY EPC
Connectial is in the process of concluding a transaction to acquire a 51% equity stake in a
leading energy engineering, procurement and construction (“EPC”) provider.
This target has been in the industry for 10 years, is a registered EsCo, and has core expertise in:
• Energy metering and profiling.
• Turnkey implementation of energy efficiency, photovoltaic, electric motor
management and energy security projects.
• Incentive administration (Eskom, carbon, finance, DTI and SARS).
8. CONNECTIVITY
Through a strategic alliance with SA Digital Villages (Pty) Ltd, we offer holistic connectivity
solutions including:

We provide an end to end solution from infrastructure deployment (in conjunction with group
company, Powerflow) to the provision of the ultimate services. This removes the need for our
retail and office clients to make specialised technology decisions and to have to co-ordinate
and separately manage the implementation of this project.
10. GREEN FUND
Connectial has established a renewable energy and carbon emission reduction investment
fund. Besides investing in attractive standalone opportunities, a key focus of this vehicle is to
offer non-exclusive funding solutions for renewable energy projects deployed by our Energy
EPC division.
Connectial believes that ‘green’ funding is key to unlocking the true potential and value of the
local renewable energy sector.
FINANCIAL SERVICES
Connectial has recognised the need for specialised fit-out finance for retail and office projects.
To this end, Connectial is in discussions with a reputable finance house to tailor-make a financing
solution for Connectial’s clients.
