Review: Versatile, Experienced, Energetic French Tutor
I had the priviledge of having Alex as my French tutor for 4 months at Alliance Francaise
Sydney and she was energetic and fantastic! It is not easy teaching a class of working adults
in the evening but she motivates everyone. She starts the class with light hearted
conversations "What did you do yesterday/last week?", to get us thinking and speaking in
French. She had plenty of fun activities, homework and exercises for the class to participate
for example presentations on travel, weather, food and dialogue on a scenario, sometimes
we turn it into a sitcom dialogue! Her usage on multimedia such as news footage, french
songs on a particular topic and French festivities were excellent. The best part of her
lessons is that when she introduces the class on the French culture, food, cities including
other Francophone cities and how French people say, think or react. It feels like you are
given a tour of France by a local! It has been a wonderful experience learning French with
Alex

Review: French Teacher
Alex was my first French teacher since I studied the language in high school many years
ago. Her patience and thorough knowledge of the language (being a native speaker) was
reassuring and I thoroughly enjoyed the many lessons I took with her. My French
definitely improved and her variety of methods, from exercises to quiz games, kept the
lessons really interesting. I highly recommend Alex if you're looking to learn French!

Review: Best Option For Learning French
I was lucky to be able to study with Alex over a couple of years and basically she took me
from no French to high-intermediate skills! Alex cares about her students and the quality of
her teaching. Very strong at French grammar and being able to explain things simply. I
recommend Alex without hesitation, so if you want the best you need look no further than
Alex!

Review: French "Lite"
The thing about Alex is that whilst - admittedly - French is a tough language to learn, the
way she teaches is makes the language easier to digest and comprehend (hence "lite").
Alex's approach is very structured and methodical, therefore she comes highly
recommended.

Alex is a fantastic teacher and helped me improve both my French comprehension and
speaking skills. She is a great role model and knowledgeable on French culture - I highly

Review: French teaching
Alex made all classes enjoyable. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed and I learnt a
