The 2015 NASW Annual Conference and Advocacy
Day which is to be held in historic Downtown
Montgomery, AL, embraces Advocacy, Social Jus-
tice, Social Welfare, and Considerations for Social
Change. The Theme “ Social Workers Paving
The Way For Change” highlights the underlying
importance of Social Workers reinvigorating their
commitment to Social Change through Advocacy.
Scheduled to take place March 4-5, 2015 , we will
pay homage to the events that took place more than
50 years ago with the Selma to Montgomery March
– an important testament to Social Change through
Advocacy. Further, we will be celebrating the ob-
servance of Social Work Awareness Month on be-
half of the National Association of Social Work.
