Kenny Wu presents a digital portfolio showcasing his artwork created using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop. He includes projects such as an illuminated letter, Rosarch test image, symmetrical illustration, and color kaleido wheel created in Illustrator. Photoshop projects include a photomerged image of a bird and flower, a composite portrait made from fruits and vegetables, and Cubist, Expressionist, Surrealist and Pop Art inspired manipulated photos. 2. About Me
• Art has become a huge
part of my life, not just
as a hobby but a way to
express myself.
• The first thing I drew
was a Christmas Tree
for a story we had to
write for our English
class in Elementary
School.
• Took art classes all
throughout middle
school and high school.

3. Adobe Illustrator Projects

4. Illuminated Letter
• This is an Halloween
themed Illuminated
letter in which the “K”,
the first letter of my
first name, is
illustrated as a tree
while there are bats,
pumpkins, and leaves
in the background.

5. Rosarch Test
• This is a Rosarch
Test image I made
that closely
resembles “Zordon”
from the Power
Rangers.

6. Symmantrical
• This is an illustration
that emphasizes the
symmetry of the
trees, clouds, and
sun. The only thing
that isn’t symmetrical
is the figure in the left
who’s relaxing by a
tree.

7. Color Kaleido Wheel
• This is a color wheel
in the form of a
Kaleidoscope image
which show’s each
colors complements
in an organized and
neat fashion.

8. Tropical Transparency
• This illustrates
tropical flower’s that
are colored using very
bright and vibrant
colors that make them
almost see through.

9. Splash
• Illustrates a scene of
a rock landing in a
puddle and creating a
“splash of water”.

10. Industrial
• This is a fuse box that
I made using Adobe
Illustrator to
emphasize the
“Industrial” concept of
machinery.

11. Photoshop Projects

12. Photomerge
• In this piece, I used
Photoshop to merge a
picture of a bird and a
blue flower in order to
create a scene where
the bird is feeding off
of the blue flower to
get food.

13. Mr. Potato
• In this project I used
vegetables and fruits
to create my own
personal Mr. Potato.
He was supposed to
be a chef as
represented by the
white mushroom on
top of his head.

14. Invention
• I took a photo of three
apples and made four
copies of them that
used a different filter
that was available in
Photoshop and put
them together to
create a composition.

15. By the Bay
• This is basically a
Cubist influenced
concept where I broke
the photo piece by
piece into rectangles
and used different
filters to alter the
image into something
unique.

16. Cubism
• This was originally a
still life I took a photo
of in my household
and I broke up the still
life objects in the
photo and used
different colors to
show the simple
geometric form they
are composed of.

17. Expressionism
• This piece was made
to illustrate the
emotion of frustration
as shown by the man
screaming with his
hands out and a
fireball being shot out
from his mouth with a
flaming skull on it to
represent repressed
feelings of anger.

18. Surrealism
• The concept behind
this piece of work is to
illustrate the true
intention’s of the mind
when it has been
“unlocked” or realized
as alluded to by the
Joker’s head on the
left and the warped
gargoyle on the right.

19. Pop Art
• To create this piece of art
I took a photo of a girl
baring her braces and
made her literally “pop”
right off the page by using
different colors to detail
her actual appearance
and express her emotions
when she bares her
braced smile.

• Everything I’ve learned and made are all
thanks to my amazing teacher Ms. Banks.
