Color-Texture-Pattern discusses three key visual elements - color, pattern, and texture. For color, it recommends using analogous colors from the color wheel rather than complementary colors, and monochrome palettes. Pattern refers to repeated shapes, colors, or objects that can be regular or irregular, found in nature or designed. Breaking patterns can be dramatic and eye-catching. Texture describes the surface details of an object, whether it feels hard or soft, smooth or rough, which angled lighting can bring out.
