3. The company, originally established as a manufacturer of metallic carpentry in 1972, gained, over the years, Engineering and
Manufacturing experience that led to become today one of the leading manufacturer of components for the Petrochemical, Refining

5. Ca.S.T.Im2000 manufacture a comprehensive range of Standard and Special Pipe Supports for the power generation, petrochemical and process industries.
Spring Supports are used for supporting piping and related components which are subject to thermal expansion, consequently movements. For minor
vertical travels the Variable Load Support is normally used, whereas the Constant Load Support is used for greater thermal expansion movements. Both
types of Spring Supports are manufactured in standard carbon steel, but low temperature and stainless steel materials are also available for special
environmental conditions. A wide range of surface protection coatings is also available.

27. To meet the increased demand for service requests and technology, Ca.S.T.Im 2000 srl offer a comprehensive
assistance service in a number of areas involving pipe supports and piping, along with a series of inspection
techniques.
 Check supporting points on site through the verification of technical documentation like data sheets, plans of the
plant and calculations of stress analysis of the plant/pipeline in possession of the customer.
 Inspection of pipe supports including regular and periodic inspection along with trouble-shooting of unique
problems associated with operating occurrences.
 Propose improving actions after the inspection, like load regulation on site, repainting on site or at our factory,
partial or total replacement of the support and relevant ancillary.
 Propose improving actions/changes that imply particular specific actions that will be executed after previous
written approval of the plant manager.
 Integrity analysis and inspection of the piping systems.
 Provide a detailed written assessment for preliminary findings and recommendations
 Management of pipe support systems including supervision during installation, training, and associated service.
 Submit a technical report at the end of the site survey.
